What is the next logical update for ai

Better reaction time so they will start to shoot, not only act as a mobile spawn points / cannon fodder.
But the main reason they nerfed was their reaction time ?
The best thing is the AI of other squad don’t run in front of me when I shoot with a riffle grenade launcher.
Its a hard one
its frustrating watching your bots sit there and take it when another squad is 10 meters in front of them.
But equally frustrating to ambush a players squad only to get locked onto from downtown by some random bot/AI that just happens to save them.
Everyones different. I would prefer players being the primary predator of other players, and bots focusing (more effectively) on killing other BOTs or AI squad members…Sounds like hero shooter, but best compromise I can think that stops them from being annoying (to a degree)
I would Make All bots much more affective at targeting Other bots/squad AI while under hold position command. (and players under 15 meters)
Hopefully a cover system that allows them to actually fire their weapons. Tired of having these trigger-shy bots in a warzone.
The problem was their deadeye accuracy. Would make maps more immersive if not everyone was hitting what they were shooting at.
Because every soldier in real life absolutely musnt fire back when ambushed and stand still like an idiot ?
They are annoying because you have to babysit them all the time

Its the consistancy that makes it annoying. Bots will literally sit there and look at each other not 10 meters away and do nothing while waiting in turn to be slaughtered.
And then another time one will pull out a hail mary from miles away, when not even attacked
Yes, like idiots. They pretty much have the opposite behaviour of what you would reasonably expect. so yes…ferking annoying.
better reaction time but lose the ability to see throught bushes
Wish there was a separate game mode like War Thunder does.
I’ll elaborate for those that don’t know.
Arcade:
Aircraft have a boost, in general better flight performance, lead indicators. Has 3rd person and HUD markers.
Realistic:
Full realistic flight models and engine performance. No lead indicators. Still has 3rd person and HUD markers.
Sim:
No HUD elements whatsoever for other aircraft. Cockpit view only.
For Enlisted they could do something like so:
Arcade:
Same as now.
Realistic:
MG’s are far less accurate when not deployed.
AI has much faster reaction time and accuracy.
In general better ai capabilities.
Higher damage for SMG’s and Assault rifles, but some other nerfs so they aren’t too OP.
- AI needs to take cover better (adressed many times, always relevant)
- More shooting (even if they miss)
- Pathfinding.
Those are the obvious ones.

More and better orders. Ideally AI Should be meh to ok on their own and quite strong when comanded.
For example AI without an order should start shooting at the enemy and have K/D around 0,5. But if I give an order to shoot (mark), they should decimate the enemy.The goal is to make “squad commander” gameplay more viable as it’s kind of a main feature of the game (not really but I wish).
