AI performance has changed dramatically since the last 2 patches. In my first weeks of play at level I, II my AI were shooting fairly often and getting some good/hits kills. Now levelled up to III and higher with perks and they shoot rarely and hit nothing. Only the controlled soldier is getting any score. This is in contrast to the early patches where ‘enemy’ AI were nailing me with headshots from over 100m when I was in a ditch hiding in bushes/long grass not moving not shooting. The whole AI balance is currently out of whack and needs to be fixed.
Super X-Ray vision AI with super aimbot level of coding is not an option, nor is the non -performant AI we currently are seeing. A balance needs to be struck that is perhaps based on visibility and range.
This perhaps needs to be tied to some suggestions I made in earlier posts about orders for AI troops, e.g. Fire at will, hold fire, watch this area then shoot in enemy enters etc.
Developers - please balance/fix this issue. Right now developing and levelling AI troops has become a bit pointless.
