Is there a suggestion here?

Simple question, no reason to be hostile.
I was wondering if this was meant to be a suggestion for something to be added, something to be considered for April Fools event, or simply stating that this existed (which would be better suited to the mess room).
Simply posting pictures with no explanation isn’t really a suggestion.

well, you seem to only ask me that question, plenty of people start threads in suggestion without any real suggestion. actually, it’s more a response to all the people asking for helicopters. then pointing out anything that half looks like a helicopter, somehow thinking they will create the perfect everything killer.
To put it simply:
I don’t respond to EVERY SINGLE POST. Only to the ones whose title catches my eye. It just so happens that your titles have caught my eye, but you haven’t put any text body on with it such as the case here.
I encourage new ideas that could have an interesting impact on the game, and am always happy to discuss balance ideas and implementation details that could help the idea become more interesting and viable if/ when presented to developers.
However, just simply posting pictures of something doesn’t really SAY anything other than “this was a thing”. There were SO MANY details, weapons, tools, vehicles, wacky inventions that were used in WW2 that the devs couldn’t possibly add them all in, nor SHOULD they for reasons of balance or play flow. So the simple fact of “this was a thing” really isn’t enough.
So if you think it might be something ACTUALLY worth noting, add text body to it. Describe your thoughts on this thing.
- How would it be used?
- Is there some unique function it would be worthwhile for?
- Does it take a certain squad to operate it?
- Is it a “neutral” vehicle like the transports that are currently in the game?
- Is it something for the April Fools Day event?
Also, just FYI, you are NOT the only person that I have this discussion with. I bring it up anytime I click on a post that is outright lacking information that is crucial to the suggestion.
I bring it up as someone that has had suggestions pass to the devs thanks to moderators/ helpers/ testers that thought my ideas were well organized and had potential, and much to my joy have seen some of my suggestions implemented in the game (most recently for example is engineers getting access to shotguns).
By no means am I the only one that has had ideas go through, but from my personal experience, the whole process works a lot more smoothly when you add detail (in an organized fashion) to your posts, in addition to the photos.

Yeah, This game should add aerosan to the game. I haven’t seen any WW2 games that feature it.
You’ll probably want a map with a wide snowfield or frozen lake, where you’ll want to shoot at high speed while scattering ice shards.
As a countermeasure, the German army has the Tatra 855.

eh… used to enjoy the forum when it was a bit more quiet rather than spree of suggestions that aren’t actually suggestions…
nor really would benefit the game as majority are just gimmik “”“features”""
