17 pounder should be the default cannon of br 4 not the 76. The 76mm is unironically worse or on par with the 75 in every single situation.
own it, its only advantage was its price.
It cost only as much as a normal BP vehicle so 1200 gold at full price.
However its really just a reskinned TT vehicle without its own squad or premium bonus so it is inferior to the premium.

Odd isn’t…EXTREMELY expensive squads and they pay devs so little.
I wonder where my money is going if not paying the devs or new, proper content updates… they aren’t even making new weapons and instead resort to copy and paste with tweaks.

and if we compare it with t-50 its just a tank with worse gun with slighly better armour. Its literally scam for money.
Anyway another event for ZSRR thats is just a scraped weapon with 5 more bullets on br IV, btw I dont want to be rude but br IV is unplayable bc of uptiers and the weapons are just a little better than BR III’s equipment, why even bother if u suffer on BR V from tanks and overpowered weapons (an m2, Tiger II etc etc)
The only difference in br III and Br IV that the second ones have magazines instead clip feading and having a slighly higher dmg.

It is a time limited old premium intended mainly for collectors.
There’s many other more potent premiums that are way cheaper during sales.
So either you are willing to pay to price or you can simply buy something else… or nothing at all. Whatever.
But to say that something expensive is scam, that’s pure commie BS. You are not the one to dictate the price.

and here, you only get a skin for an existing vehicle around the same price.

with that being said, they can keep their artificial scarsity if they want.
if someone wasn’t going to buy it for what is worth, they definitely aren’t going to buy compared to the rather competitive prices out there.

My question is why give a weaker verison of an SVT-40 we already have? Let alone this could have easily been Tech Tree as a folder with the SVT-40. The drum mag verison is already in game, Why not just give that as a reward? This feels like adding more Event weapons for the sake of being an event weapon. I remember when Event weapons were something like the MP-41(R) where it’s a unique weapon for the time germany didn’t really have something like it in the tech tree.
Or even the Lewis Assault rifle which is such an neat weapon.
My simple question is was this really needed? Many nations are lacking alot in their weapons and choices, Along side this is an event that only a few will care about because the minor rewards because they will never play B.R 4 Russia, Let alone most B.R 4 weapons will never be used due to the fact B.R 5 exists which feels like night and day compared to B.R 4
We still haven’t even gotten weapons like a Lewis machine gun for B.R 3 or B.R 2 for the tech tree

These 6-day commemorative events usually don’t offer rewards that are “essential.”
Which I think is a very good thing. They’re basically events that people can easily skip without missing out on anything important, yet they offer opportunities for people who want to get something unique.
(For me Bubnov SVT is not something unique, as I already own 4 of them)
So I really can’t agree with anyone who criticizes these events or rewards.
MP-41 (r) was firstly introduced in armory event, not in commerative event. Only later it was reused as reward in several other events.

My simple issue with these is the whole reason these events exist are to draw players in, So while I understand the reason it’s an SVT-40 but why not offer captured SVT-40s for the germans because they did use alot of them due to the historical rifleman squads of the germans during the era was mostly Kar-98s.
Meaning semi automatic rifles were collected and used much like the PPSH-41. It would have allowed both the germans and Russians to have a reason to play the event and care about it.
Now of course no one really would due to the problems of B.R IV vs V.

Because Enlisted is a game. If you want to play an SVT-40, choose and play the Soviet faction. There’s no reason to ruin integrities of ingame factions by overbloating them with event weapons that are just copypaste of other’s faction TT weapon, especially when there are plenty of other weapons that could be used instead.
Not to mention, you can easily capture SVT-40 in match and use it.

Im not even dictating a price, im just calling it a scam - a new player for example will think thats a good tank to buy for that cost - its a premium at all right?.
