Adoption of the Gewehr 43

I wonder if the problem is that they don’t have enough weapons or if they simply find it very annoying to use rifles instead of SMGs and MGs, especially since practically all factions have semi-automatics in BR2 and 3

It’s because they can’t aim, is my guess.

The fact that people find kills with rifles or kills with rifleman hard in an event that rewards BRV auto rifle is beyond me.

I’d understand if they were console players, but if not, well… I wouldn’t know what to say. I actually found using semi-automatics quite entertaining; I hadn’t used them like that since the pre-merge era, more or less. I usually only used SMGs in BR2 or MGs and ARs in BR5.

fr, the event is easy af to complete in barely any matches. Its literally just playing the game, like you said. It genuinely baffles me: if people really don’t enjoy the game to the point they’re actively avoiding playing the game at all, then why do they even care about event rewards for a game they don’t even seem to wanna play in the first place?

I swear nothings changed from years ago, there’s always just people in the community who want something to whinge about.

honestly that just seems even crazier to me, if those players don’t wanna use SA/SF’s at all, then why tf do they even care about getting an SF rifle reward that they clearly wouldn’t wanna use either?

I genuinely think a ton of the members of the community are just dissatisfied with their lives in general and need a punching bag to vent their frustrations on, so they spend their time complaining about a free to play game that literally no one forces them to play. I swear year after year I often see the same names pop up still complaining about how much they hate the game, but year after year they’re still here, rather than moving on and doing something better with their lives.

No, they’re probably just clueless. They have no idea that semi-automatic tasks can be completed with SF rifles, and that not all kills with riflemen have to be made with standard rifles.

They just don’t know how to get through these events. So it’s much easier for them to just complain and whine instead of trying to think and use their brains.

I love how this conversation started at “it’s tricky, but worth it”, to now just proclaiming “skill issue” to everyone who doesn’t feel like cycling rifle squads.

Total BS.

I literally completed the event with a lineup that had only one rifleman squad, and most of the other squads were either premium or event (no riflemen). And I was easily able to complete the tasks in 3 or 4 matches.

These tasks aren’t hard at all, nor are they demanding. And they certainly weren’t annoying.

Also, I’d appreciate it if you’d stop putting words in people’s mouths. I’ve noticed you do that a lot.

The conversation isn’t just about the SA kills, lets not forget it started about the 100 rifleman kills.

Honestly, that’s where the complaining was the largest.

I can read, my good sir… the conversation is public and accesible to everyone. Just go on and look above.

Where’s the BS…? Another absolute and unfounded statement.

Are you confused, and thought I was responding to you specifically…? let me disuade your doubts:

As you can see, I wasn’t responding to you, but the conversation in general.

No.

I guess I have to repeat myself.

I just doesn’t see how this discussion went to:

I just see your comment as a manipulative attempt to invalidate the opinions of those who think the tasks in this event are perfectly reasonable and that there’s nothing particularly difficult or annoying about them. That’s all.

I see… we have a case of a difference in perception…

It would be unreasonable, and too long, to quote the entire conversation leading up to here. I can only Implore you to go back and read the timeline.

I just see the general conversation as a manipulative attempt to invalidate the opinions of those who think the rifelman task in this event was unreasonably high. That’s all.

I certainly didn’t mean to invalidate anyone, but I was pointing out that the tone had seriously degraded/radicalised over time.

I believe this to be a accurate reading of the flow of the conversation.

On another note, I don’t even think I was complaining, not that much anyway.

My initial contribution was to hear the complaints with others, appreciate their position, before conducting my own personal “investigation/research” into the matter, as I had not yet begun grinding for that cycle.

I arrived at a solution/method for how to grind out the task, suited to the perticular line-up I had active at the time, which proved very effective (two battles to complete the rifleman task, one for the MG, four for the rest - I was unlocky and got upt to 59 SA kills after the third battle - to specify and add context).

I never requested things be changed, it was doable. I did my due dilligence and completed the event, in its entierty as well, all 12 tasks.

The complete lack of empathy for others is my point here, I felt for the initial group of people, provided a plausable way to aleviate their problems, and now I come back to a seriously tonaly degraded space from the initial interactions I had.

Instead, other peoples reaction was to belittle the concerns of others, which is entierly the wrong mindest for a official forum.

And that rifle is sick!

That’s fair, after all, the Bolsheviks also won the war. The problem is that many players dislike the monopolization of prizes for only one faction! Let all the pro-Allied events come, but the prizes should be for everyone involved, because without the Axis powers there wouldn’t have been a Second World War as we know it!
