Adoption of the Gewehr 43

A 20-round one, maybe? Because for some reason, the one in the TT has a 30-round magazine and is BR4 (if they haven’t changed it, which is very strange). I don’t think there’s another MG in BR4 with a magazine/belt of less than 50 rounds. I also think there are mentions that the Type 99 was sometimes used by snipers with suppressors and scopes, but I’m not sure about that.

Will he chase a rabbit in a red dress across the map? Seriously though, that would make for an interesting Saboteur skin and a special silenced weapon.

was it intentional not to fire it full auto un mounted?

This player posts a video of the weapon itself 2-3 hours before the event.

I see, so it’s probably something he created in the game. Thanks for the information.

Last year, the Victory Day discount started around this time. Why hasn’t it started yet this year?

100 riflemen kill is the worst quest i have ever done tbh, it not fun at all unless i spam them of course but again that isnt fun.

200 or 300 enemy kill would be much better than this.

I’m not surprised. Another unfinished, half-baked release.

Did anyone from QA even look at this weapon’s reload animation? Didn’t anything strike them as odd?

I’ll see where I get on that mission… I happen to have a rifleman squad active, and every maxed out MG squad has a space left over for a rifleman, whom I’ll use to camp an HMG for an entire game I suppose…

I’ll give up on it if I don’t finish it in four games, or the ammount of games it’ll take me to get 60 SA kills. Wish me luck…

Greetings and salutations, friends!

Here’s a mission guide from yours truly for how to grind rifleman kills (and the MG kills at the same time);

Step 1; Loadout

You want to be bringing a combination of MG and a Rifleman squads.

One of each will do, if you want to perserve loadout flexibility. But, if you want to quicken the process even more, you may want to bring multiples of each.

You want these squads to have an Engineer each, the rest is personal preference (riflemen are the soldier type we want to use for making the majority of the kills, though).

Step 2; Gamble.

Start the matchmaker, and pray for a gamemode where you get to defend.

And that you get a competent team, because Lordy knows you won’t be babysitting the objective.

Any BR and faction will do, I foresee that BR I will be the best place to grind with this perticular strategy. I play BR III Allies.

Step 3; Build an HMG.

Find a neat shokepoint, one where you feel safe from flanking but where you will also be overlooking an open area that the enemy is likely to cross.

Here, you build an HMG.

If you have the engineers for it, immediately shoot your HMG, this will allow you to build a backup HMG at a second location, then you can go back and repair the first one. Not nessesary, and I would advise using the build points to instead repair the first HMG, because it will get destroyed… So, only do this if you have multiple engineers in that squad.

Step 4; Cheese the riflemen.

Now, just hang back, play your riflemen, and use the HMG to mow down the bot squads following players (be intelligent and let the players pass through unmolested, then molest their AI).

Should all your riflemen in that squad die? Just run forward and get the whole squad killed, and now you spawn in with one of your Rifle squads. Here, you’ll have 7-8 riflemen that can replace each man as they’re killed behind the HMG, and an engineer that you’ll use to repair the HMG each time its destroyed (and whom you shall protect like there’s nothing more sacred in your life).

Bonus step; Bring a Radioman.

If you call in a artillery strike whilst playing as a Rifleman, that Rifleman will get the kill credit, and count as kills for the mission.

Using the outlined strategy above, I managed to get 67 rifleman kills in a single game, after having played a previous game where I got zero (and didn't try this strategy).
