Would you like to see the attacker tracking marker given by taking damage adjusted?
When taking damage from all sources including artillery and grenades, you are given a damage direction indicator that tracks the source of the damage for 2 seconds or so.
The problem… this gives you basically a bare bones wall hack when you take damage… here’s an example, you got shot through a window in a building and he is now pushing you, you now know with no skill required (listening for footsteps or predicting player movement) his next directional movement for the next 2.5 seconds or so… this may not seem like much but that exact situation or similar ones i’ve had happen many, many times and provided me with an unfair advantage.
The solution… like other FPS games instead of a moving marker give a singular ping where the damage came from

i mean its only fair that we know where our attacker is coming from

Yes… that’s exactly the problem i’m highlighting and have an example but i will try to give a picture

You are green, you have just got shot through the window by red… now because of that when he starts to push around using the dotted line you are being given his exact movement by that blue… and then he dies because you can just pre fire.
This is unfair not only because it moves but also because it removes any resemblance of skill when predicting movements… instead of listening for his footsteps i can just watch the marker, and have.
I can find a clip and upload it… like i said many times i have abused this… and there was even a complaint on the reddit about a possible console hacker snd this is how he knew where he was through the wall
This isn’t such a major problem… however i think it should eventually be adjusted
Besides editing the code itself i think it would also be easier on the game as it’s just one tick for their direction instead of it tracking you
