Before someone immediately posts “there are more important things to worry about”, hear me out.
I’ve been seeing a host of issues (from suggestions threads) that I think could be potentially solved through a rework of this system.
For starters:

grind seems too difficult for new players
While they have definitely added more ways to acquire supplies, I think that supply rewards upon hitting a new rank should be added. Just an extra bonus according to how many levels beyond marshal that you get. (when the currency change occurs, it will be even easier) -
lack of customization orders and name decorators
As you progress higher, the larger the amounts you get per level. -
addressing players that frequently quit matches and rewards for those that hang in there
The New list for ranking changes

Winning the Game adds a point

Obtaining any battle hero award adds a point

Obtaining “First Place” or “Battle Contribution” award adds an adds a point

Losing no longer loses a point

Quitting out of a match loses a point

Quitting out *frequently will lose 2 points/ set

Quitting out of 3 games in a row will lose an additional 3 points
(*frequently) Each set of 10 games that you have entered, if more 5 or more have been desertions, it is considered “frequently”
Ultimately, it will be easier overall to level up, (and the requirement for marshal can be increased to reflect that).
However those that are staying in games will have a way a small bonus, those that quit games will receive a small penalty (of which can be easily recovered if you are even a decent player), and those that are quitting to the point of it being disruptive to other players are punished.
On top of all that, it keeps players pushing harder for the win.
