Addressing Enlisted issues /list inside

Posting for the 3rd time… the worst forum, that I saw in my entire life, 2021, and I can’t even edit anything.

Open for discussion. Biased towards Axis, I guess, as that’s what I mostly play beside Soviets in Berlin.

Sorry for my poor english skills.

  1. Airplanes.
  • Increase required amout of units being played prior to using planes, or add time delay of X/XX minutes before flying is possible again, regardless of how many units were already used*.
  • Remove vehicle slots from premium account holders, change them to infantry.
  • Add fixed AA emplacements on maps.
  • Make AA resupply its ammo from ammo crate placed by engineers**.
  • Fix hitboxes, they are broken in the entire game and that affects every single object, walls especially.
  • They are simply flying tanks, which is just ridiculous, sometimes even ramming them doesn’t do anything, as we just bounce off of them.
  • Fixed spawns need permanent area of anti bombing protection. I first mained Moscow as Germany, and could never understand why so many complaints were being made [here] about airplanes… playing Normandy made me realize it.
  1. Red zone/forbidden zone.
  • Building AA/AT should be either completely disabled, or altered so they are easier to be dealt with.
  • Tanks camping.
  1. Maps.
  • Most suffer due to poorly placed spawn zones, a lot of times entire units appear out of thin air in the middle of nowhere. Many spawns are placed in the open zones in the close vicinity to buildings where units get rekt from because they are already occupied by the enemies.
  • Prolongue spawn protection, and include running in it. At the moment spawn protecion works for X/XX seconds, I’m not sure how long is that exactly, but it runs off after a while, even if you stand still… I tested it myself, a tank camping my fixed spawn helped me.
  • D-Day, prevent tank spawning for the first X minutes of the battle, for Germany D-Day is all about the MG 42, I do obviously main the Germans, it’s my favorite map in the entire game and it’s just plain stupid, that exactly after I spawn, guns get taken out by the tanks, it’s a matter of seconds. I wouldn’t mind if tanks spawned only after the first inital cap was taken over by the Allies.
  • Ver sur mer is as for me, the worst possible map in the entire game, unlike the D-Day which heavily favors Axis, this one here, heavily favors Allies. Single Bunker in the middle of the map, and that’s it, it gets taken seconds after the round start, and it get worse as the game progresses. I already forgot if tanks spawn alongside infantry, since I instantly quit whenever I see this map, and want to get it out of my head.
  1. Weapons.
  • PPD 34/38 should have a limit of 1 per team, no more. 73 ammo makes it the best SMG on Moscow, no doubt about it.
  1. Others.
  • AI = artificial intelligence, other than head shotting from the other part of the map, wallhacking, etc., there’s not much intelligence there, this should be a priority over everything else.
  • Stop disguising bots, as players, we already know this game is in about 60/70 or maybe even higher % just bots. I myself quit a lot, grinding is time consuming, I don’t mind playing against bots, but having them in my team puts me in a huge disadvantage, especially if I seem to be the only alive player, and enemies just roll over us with no effort.
  • HE needs a buff, especially tank HE, at the moment their power is close to being non existent.
  • Buff artillery, a shell can literraly land in front of you and deal from X to XX of HP loss, which is just laughable, barrage should be long, but on top of that deadly, increase time delay before another artillery strike can be called it. Frequent artillery upgrade [artillery strike 4 times more often, if I’m not mistaken that equalls to 40 seconds], if anything, it should be available once per 4 minutes, or even rarer after it’s buff.
  • Direction after spawning should point towards the goal.
  • At the moment players spawn in waves, I’m not sure if I want everyone to spawn all at once, but surely spawning first is beneficial.
  • Add map/game mode filter.
  • Expand scoring, e.g. destruction of enemy objects and much more, actions, risk, time taken to perform should be rewarded, not just some of them.

I probably missed something.

Berlin has not been addressed, as I don’t have enough hours played.

1* Prevents suicide abuse.
2* AA being using as anti infantry weapon is already an issues, this can only escalate it.

You got some good ideas, but others I’m strongly against:

You cannot ask for that, simply because alot of premium users paid premium just for that. If it were removed, it would be impossible to play fighter pilot when some annoying cas enemy is in the air if you selected a tank squad, etc.

No, never. There’s enough tanks hiding in grey zones already, now you want to add a spot where they would be invulnerable completely? And also it’s nice to get rid of afk players, or trolls.

No. They are already real easy to deal with, with so many possible ways.

Hell no, fight them from afar with the Exellent mg34, else they should also only allow 1 mp40.

They are powerful already… ofc a 20mm won’t explode much, a 75mm will, though.

Other than those mentioned above, some nice ideas.

Yes more changes to make the game even more boring as it became after the Artillery fix because Granddads cant keep up with explosions all around them.

Please ruin the game as War Thunder was ruined and is basically by now just a cuckold game since watching Phly and Dollar is pretty funny but playing it myself and wasting lifetime on that? Fuck that.

That is something we shouldn´t even be forced to pay for and should be grindable to be honest… and from what I have seen, people are not even using it to slot fighters.

I’d have no problem if it was grindable or something, as long as I’m able to get more than one vehicle slot, though. For now, that feature should remain.

i would say only on conquest maps,

i have only ever had this happen two times

the HE ammo on 75-76mm is really good as is but i do find the 20/45mm lacking

This pretty much screams git gud, and learn to use the stuff Germans have, like the best MG around…

and the best CAS around

Meh. I don’t mind those, really. Moscow is probably the only campaign where cas isn’t abused (too much).
It’s my favourite campaign because it feels balanced. Asymmetrical, yes, but both factions got their strengths/weaknesses.

Germany got good lmgs, but Soviets got good smgs.
Germany got good pure cas planes, but soviets got the best tanks.
Rest available is mostly the same for both. 🤷

yep it’s also like that in normandy where germany has better CAS and LMGs while america has better AT weapons and tanks

sure the piat is better but tanks? The stuart is trash against the puma and a non factor later on, the scott is a meme that can be destroyed by anything, the sherman and the sherman jumbo have non existent post pen damage making tank battles against pz3/4 an insanely boring chore not to mention that even the short 75 of the pz 3 can oneshot the jumbo from the front.

jumbo has better armor, and all of them aside from scott has much better turret traverse than fully starred german tanks when they aren’t fully starred, the 75mm m2 and m3 are great at anti infantry and the HE shells can and will 1 shot pumas, the only issue that the 75mm m3 has is that it doesn’t cause proper shrapnel

How DARE you badmouth my little Stuart!? Tiny tank is quick like Speedy Gonzalez, nimble, small enough to pass ANYWHERE, and can offer sustained mg fire without being afraid of overheating. It’s so quick you can also flank bigger tanks with ease. I got a pz4H with my 1 star stuart once. (Sure it took ALOT of shells in it’s butt and sides, but I got it). The pz4 player rage quited after…

  1. Agree though I wouldnt prefer a removal of the vehicel slot (rather make it grindabel like other peoplesuggested)

  2. While I see grey zone camping as a issue I do not see any issues regarding cannons (aside that tank cannons should be movable and we really need more AA gun models for the Allies and Axis)

pretty pointless when u literaly have a oneshot spot right in the front, i did today, in a d-day map with only 2 shots with a pz 3, shit like this should not happen

Yes the puma is the only thing that we can reliably destroy and i’m pretty sure all 75 mm cannons are great against poor bastards on foot. The american’s mg are better i’ll give you that

That’s a huge issue thought, it ruins all tank battles, every panzer becomes an indestructible tiger unless he is dumb and shows his sides then maybe if u get lucky you will oneshot him, german tanks are way better at tank on tank battles and if u win that you can focus on helping your team.

This is all true man but the puma can do all that just way better, good job on taking a pz iv thought, can’t imagine how many minutes it took, that’s some crazy perseverance.

if they are on a slope and aiming down on you then the armor isn’t going to save you no matter how sloped it is but on equal grounds you can be nigh unkillable to enemy unless they know where to aim, MG port is that weak spot and you should be best to angle it just enough to not show your sides and keep it out of enemies reach.

i know which is why i want it fixed or at least replaced with the historical m61 APHECBC

I don’t know about giving AA unlimited ammo, I’d rather see that the ammo they already have is made a lot more effective against planes. Make it one shot planes and increase xp rewards for shooting them down (should give more tham taking out tanks).

When playing, I also take a factor very, very seriously concerning what loadout I take on the field: The fun factor. Will I be better with that tiny tank than with a giant lumbering, but impenetrable slug? Certainly not. But will I have a blast doing it? Yes? Then I go for the tiny funny tank. It was so hilarious circling the helpless pz4!!! I laughed so much. Could have used something much better to end the pz quickly… But even with the better xp prospect… it’s not as funny. I like to vary from time to time and reuse older vehicles.

In Normandy, it’s different than in Moscow. In Moscow, tanks are increasingly better, and are often just a better version of the previous model, so going back isn’t useful (Exept for the t-60. It’s an infantry decimating machine, very fun) but in Normandy, first tanks are light tanks, the subsequent ones are mediums. Different class entirely, different roles. :thinking:
