Hello. I’ve been thinking as. Since there is a lot of cover in the game. And often i see the Ai rarely take cover. How as if we could get a automatic “take cover system” where if the AI hears some fire around a coner or flying within 10 meter attempt taking cover as close to you as possible, Onto a wall. And kinda lean behind a wall or something directed from the other direction of the firing person. Also a bit few movement things would be needed to be fixed whilst walking and so on. Since randomly i and i’ve see others just get launched up. Or randomly humping the wall trying to get through or so on. A lot of movement would be a great addition. IMO.
Feel free to criticize anything i said. I take anything as good feedback as long it isn’t insultive.
Somebody suggested something similar as part of suppression system. It was sth like that: MGs have suppression that forces AI to hide behind cover.
Maybe make AI take cover when it’s getting shot at and make them return fire, when suppressed by volume of fire they don’t even try to return fire. A lot of “fire” it this post.
I’d love there to be a cover system like the Men of War and Company of heroes have. Just look and/or aim at a cover then press “x” (on PC) and the bots will take cover behind that wall or against whatever cover you aim for. Simple and hopefuly effective
