I’ve been thinking a lot about including all the diverse races that fought in WWII in the game “Enlisted.” Honestly, I think it could be a really cool addition that adds depth and recognition to the many groups who contributed to the war effort. We often hear about the major powers and their armies, but the reality is so much richer and more complex, with people from all over the world and from many different backgrounds playing crucial roles.
That said, I would understand why some players are concerned about historical accuracy and game balance. “Enlisted” has always tried to strike a balance between immersion and fun gameplay, and adding new units or character models might require careful implementation to avoid disrupting that balance. Still, thoughtful design makes it possible.
Plus, the game’s modding tools could be an excellent way for the community to explore these additions in custom scenarios without forcing changes on everyone. It’s exciting to think about how this could open up new storytelling and gameplay possibilities.
What do you all think? Would you welcome more diverse representation in “Enlisted,” or do you feel it might detract from the historical feel? In other words, “Do you welcome more diverse representation in ‘Enlisted’?”

What are your thoughts on how the game could introduce these diverse representations without compromising its existing gameplay mechanics or historical atmosphere?
I really want to turn that US Halloween Medic squad from last year into a full squad of African-American medics… It’s really strange that there’s one Afro-American withing the squad with a bunch of White-Americans… The US Military was segregated at the time…
