Add Waffen-SS Plane Tree (Platanenmuster) Camouflage Uniform

I would like to suggest adding the Waffen-SS Plane Tree (Platanenmuster) camouflage pattern to Enlisted. This was one of the most recognizable SS camouflage patterns of World War II and would be a great historical addition to the game’s customization options.

Possible additions:

  • Reversible spring/autumn smock.
  • Matching helmet covers.
  • Historically accurate use on appropriate maps and squads.

Benefits:

  • Increased historical authenticity.
  • More uniform variety for German forces.
  • Popular camouflage pattern among WWII enthusiasts.

Thank you for considering this suggestion.

I’ve suggested these uniforms several times before, and I’d like to bring the suggestion back before the upcoming major update.

we do have them ( the model )

So, shouldn’t be too hard to make the missing / suggested variants since we also do have the plane tree camouflage.

planetenmuster are missing though.

I’d love to see that, because this uniform is only for one squad and is just a variation of that uniform.

For example, a squad from the excellent game Day of Infamy is a great representation of the “Oak Leaf” uniform.

Our characters are literally wearing nothing underneath the camouflage smocks (in rare cases). It should be fixed soon and come with the uniforms of their respective branches.

eventually they will.

some items do have under shirts.

just that the new sheen tunics are new.

hence not all were ported over to the new system.

and tecnnically are still WIP.

cause the color of the tabs cannot be changed as of yet.
but i’m sure it will.

Understandable in Normandy (mid summer), but looks weird in Stalingrad, Moscow and Bulge though.

Because of people like you who never stopped mentioning how important proper visual customisation is.

yeah… there’s kinda alot to go through.

but hey, still props to the new UK based devs that have started taking customization more seriously.

last year we got more than we did in the last 2.

and above all, praise the actual 3d team developers for making incredible and ever more so close to be historically accurate uniforms.

a little bird told me we’ll be getting eagles on the uniforms

and there’s a chance US uniforms we’ll be getting divisional / regimentals icons on the shoulder like we used to.

but still busy in making codes for presets first.
