I know there are some removed squads, mostly from the Stalingrad paid bundle, but I hadn’t started playing this game at that time, so now I have no way to obtain these squads. I hope these squads can be added to the silver chest or resold
Reselling makes the most sense as it creates profit for Gaijin, but then again, they seem to do a lot of things that to me, really make no sense.

as someone who have 12 riflemen squad, 5 sngineer, 5 fighter and more i guess i understand why you would want them but here the thing.
They use old xp system aka 10k+ xp for 1 lvl do you really want that? i mean seriously do you REALLY want something that take age to get 1 lvl. (tank squad i understand tho but the old P47 squad is actually a hindrance since now you cant use it on other squad)

Bringing back legacy squads doesn’t solve anything. There are plenty of classes that don’t have their own British/Italian squads, even if we take all legacy squads into account.
So your argument is completely off the mark. And it only addresses one specific scenario
Instead, the developers should create new Italian and British squads for all classes.
And there’s no reason to take away the exclusivity of legacy squads from veterans, who invested a lot of time to earn them. Not just a few silvers.
Plus, there are plenty of historical divisions that could be used instead.

By pushing this half baked “solution”, you’re effectively just disrespecting all veteran players who value exclusivity.

If you stood back and looked at it… you’ll realize the obvious reason why this is the case:
There wasn’t, and still isn’t, any corresponding tech tree / silver equipment in game to outfit the missing squads.
No British or Italian trucks, no Italian AT weapons, no Italian mortars, no Italian attacker aircraft. Of course they don’t have squads for gear they don’t and didn’t have.
This is no reason to hold back all the other squads, which are very much needed.
Their exclusivity is entierly accidental and arbitrary, whatever got a place in the post-merge tech tree stayed, the rest became unobtainable. There isn’t some grand design, any legacy squad could have been in the place of a tech tree one.
There is nothing special about these squads, except that they’re no longer available.
There are plenty of historical divisions that are waiting to be reused.
Plot twist, unwise players could waste them for a paltry 10k silver…

For the joy of having multiple presets. Moreover, once the “blue” tech tree is done for those, they’re fully leveled as the “green” and “red” are shared with basic squads. So not that long.
More squads is a must. I feel the need especially with Japan that came later and have less squads… can’t make as many funny presets, or have powerful air force, unlike other factions which can field multiple top tier vehicles.
Do Japan even have legacy squad tho? i mean i feel like i dont remember any of them.
Anyway i still want to change my P47 since i want to use it on other squad and not my legacy one. (I literally cant change it)

I’m a vétéran , like you. But I’m agree with that: giving some old legacy squads in loot boxes for new players isn’t a bad idea.

For example, for axis I can field 2 King tigers (one is the P). AND a regular tiger. If I want.

And just for your information, I do not own all legacy squads. Yet I respect the exclusivity of these squads. And I definitely don’t want to take it away from people who’ve earned them through hard work.

Then again thanks to multiple legacy squads I can field 2 P47 in my lineup if I want! (Sure the Razorback use m8 rockets, but still a solid plane)

Returning legacy squads will help with subfaction representation, this is just true… you can argue by how much, and if you think there are (in your view) better ways. But you can’t say it “doesn’t solve anything”, this is flat out incorrect, or a lie.

The silver chests really don’t need even more stuff cluttering them. I think the best way to implement legacy squads would be to have them purchasable with research points after completing the tech tree the squad belongs to
