Add the P-63A-10 to USA TT

So I realised that American TT doesn’t have a BR4 fighter in the TT so why not add it, and it’s really easy to do just a copy and paste.

There are many planes that could be imported from WT instead.

No reason to push for unnecessary copypaste only to make Soviet premium less unique.

I was initially in favour, but having read up on the aircraft, I have concluded that the P-63 was incredibly rare in US service, as the USAAF deemed the Mustang the superior aircraft, and therefor just ordered those instead. The majority seems to have gone to lend-lease rather than domestic service.

The P-63 could be a event or another premium aircraft. Probably premium. But not the tech tree.

Thanks I’ll do some research on the war thunder wiki tomorrow.

Agreed, P-63 wasn’t used by the US, it was only built because P-39 was a disaster for the US but loved by the soviets, and as a result almost all of the P-63 were used by the Reds.

We could get another P-51 variant or a Griffon powered Spitfire and/or Typhoon instead.

I personally don’t care as I probably wouldn’t use it if it were in the US tech tree.

Yes to all, please.

The Commonwealth definately deserves more aircraft, a attacker Typhoon in BR V, and more fighters outside of BR I and II is a must-have.

And I’m sure American players wouldn’t complain about more alternatives to the P-36s, either… I kinda wish the Mustangs didn’t fly like bricks, so there would be any point in picking them…

But hey, at least they fly better than the Fw 190s…

Well since Germany got a ground attacker its time for :

Spitfire F Mk XIVe | War Thunder Wiki
Hornet Mk.I | War Thunder Wiki
F6F-5N | War Thunder Wiki
P-61C-1 | War Thunder Wiki
F7F-1 | War Thunder Wiki
Typhoon Mk Ib/L | War Thunder Wiki

All this aircrafts should be in the TT since US late stages TT aircrafts are very few for a faction that has huge potential for aircrafts.

Personally I think the Corsair should be moved down to BR4 since it used to fill the role of a BR4 fighter for America, and also cause its outclassed at BR5

The soviet air Tech tree hase even biger Problems they have literally nothing in BR4.

Maybe the US, UK could maybe get a higher BR Late War Spitfire or a Hawker Typhoon

Maybe for the Us maybe a weaker armed P-47 could maybe work as well in BR4!

The Problem is that the P63 wasnt really used by the USA!

Some where in the forum i did mention the Jak-9U as well!
Most of youre ideas would be Prototypes i am not the prototype fan!

Well Yak-9UT was used and BR V USSR not only have a prototype plane but the plane was not finished during world war 2 not even started.

I did write about the Yak- 9U.
I didnt write about the Yak- 9UT

If Wikipedia is correct

Quote
The first unit to use the Yak-9U, between 25 October and 25 December 1944, was 163.IAP. Pilots were ordered not to use the engine at combat speed since this reduced its life to two or three flights only. Nevertheless, in the course of 398 sorties, the unit claimed 27 Focke-Wulf Fw 190As and one Bf 109G-2, for the loss of two Yaks in dogfights, one to flak and four in accidents. The Yak-9U contributed greatly toward the Soviets gaining air superiority, and the Germans learned to avoid the Yaks “without antenna mast”.[10]
