Add the OPTION to give smoke shells to any tank, in addition to those that have them by default

Smoke shells from tanks CAN be extremely clutch to help your infantry. However, they seem to only come on a select few tanks.

Can we please get the option to add them to other tanks that don’t have them by default? Like it would remove 4 AP shells and 4 HE shells to let you have the 7 smoke shells.

Historically only certain tanks had them, or certain guns had them, but I have noticed that some of the tanks that have them in game did not really in the war, so it’s anybody’s guess why some do and some don’t in game.

I’ve noticed that quite a few of the ones that do are very lightly armored and aren’t very good for pushing up to assist infantry.

With the exception of the Hellcat. It excels at supporting infantry surprisingly.

Technically any british tanks which have a 2 pounder main gun (daimler, a13, matilda) shouldn’t have HE ammo.

I would just like to give the Shermans their M61.

I thought the devs had favored the assaulting tanks that are usually less armored to have smoke shells as a counter to the opponents with more armor and better cannons

so I always felt it made sense to do it from the perspective of attempting to give them a chance

if you just give that to all the tanks, then those weaker tanks lost the little thing they have different that gives them an extra role

I do prefer it this way, opposed to them just giving it to all tanks

They did have HE late war, (I think mid 43’ish last time I looked at a production chart) for the 2 pounder, but by then the only 2 pounder in use at the front in Europe was the Daimler Scout car.

Australian Matty’s, had HE for their two pounder in the Pacific, they made their own HE rounds for bunker busting which is what a lot of Matilda tanks did in the pacific apparently.

Leave it to the Australians.

Australians are just British Texans.
