Add Stug III G to TT - move STUG III F to BR2

Germanies BR3 tanks are glass canons - but in return used to be still able to “somewhat reliably” defeat a couple of BR5 tanks.

BR3 doesn’t face BR5 anymore - this advantage is gone. KV1 and T34 STZ are quite heavily armored and require Panzer IV to aim for weakspots to defeat those tanks - while massive Soviet post pen damage takes out targets in just one hit.

Adding a STUG III G to the German TT would also require Soviets to aim for weakspots, giving reason for Soviets to use tanks with better penetration but generally less power ( which would make the gameplay more healthy if BR3 Soviets get to fight BR4 German heavy armor.

KV1 specifically eats low BR alive while being also very strong in its own BR - as such also lowering STUG III F to BR2 would give German players more reasonable tools to deal with those heavy tanks.

Yes, and just give the premium StuG MG34 to people with privileges.

Late production STUG III G had even a coax MG

Well, as long as we have IS-2 issue (lol) - that’s a fair trade with a strong KV-1 (as KT compare to some soviet stuff)

Personally, its kinda weird, but I remember before BR3 got ±1 BR - I felt like taking out regular IS 2 with Panzer IV J was easier than taking out KV1, T34 85 definitely is easier. I still believe KV1 has wrong armor values or at least the overlapping armor being BR4 material, but to be fair Tiger also seems like has more than 100mm of armor, despite thats what it says in the game.

Premium STUG back before the merge was kinda OP, don’t know what it was, but it was for whatever reason almost immortal, today you can take it out with a couple of shots, the flat triangle gun shield seem to have 50mm of armor, so most low BR tanks should be able to snipe it I believe.

You forgot the scoped stg & mkb.

Unrealistic, but irrelevant for gameplay - those arebad guns, but I personally always remove my scoped from STG.

Nice to have its option anyway

I only have premium stug III for 2 and its insanely good - fast speed, fast reload, apch shells (or something - don’t know how in English)

That’s very true, cool interesting stuff adds to diverse gameplay, but I think a niche weapon class shouldn’t be considered that heavily when discussing balance.

I think in general Snipers aren’t that important to make a huss about them - like … well I often claim how RD44 is the strongest gun in the entire game, but since it is limited to MG gunners I dont think this gun is game breaking at all.

I also feels that my mg-gunner doesnt need speed that much and want some trophy MG

Its not bad, but its 50mm of armor and lack of MG makes me never use it.

Well, even TT Panzer IV seems like the better choice, not to mention I have that event howitzer Puma, Prem Panzer III M and Stalingrad Panzer III N.

:star_struck: I was to lazy to take it(

its a good thing germany only fights the ussr and not us, thus the stug 3 g would not be overwhelmingly overpowered against br2 us tank good thing us does not fight germany

Doesn’t Crusader have over 100 penetration?

For a 47mm gun, so not a 1 hit crew kill the stug 3 75mm would be

Premium Stug III G’s should get the remote controlled coax top MG, the rare and latest MG set up before the war ended.

Also a fun fact for those looking at this thread that don’t know about the late war Stug III’s: It had 2 MGs, 1 top coaxial MG34 first manned with a bullet shield, the latest would be a remote controlled MG34 and one true coaxial MG gun port above the main gun with an MG mount built on top of the gun’s receiver.
