It is currently the 24th of April in Australia. Tomorrow, the 25th of April is ANZAC Day where we remember our veterans.
I take this occasion to once again ask that slouch hats and/or digger hats be added to free customisation as Allied headgear option for ALL squads.
The models already exist in various premium/event Australian squads, as well as the event saboteur Chindit.
Indeed while a national icon of Australia, the slouch hat or digger hat was also used by other Commonwealth nations such as South Africa and British soldiers in Burma.
I would further strongly request the New Zealand ‘lemon squeezer’ hat from the Charlton squad be made freely available for our Kiwi brothers.
There is ZERO reason why this should not happen immediately. It is very easy and quick to do.
I also remind devs and fellow players that the British officer’s peaked cap was previously introduced with the premium Sten Mk III squad, yet it is available as a free customisation option.
So Cmon devs, move ya clacka and get the job done!

well, unfortunately, to my surprise,
no australian units were deployed to the western france-belgium-berlin campaign.
but, i don’t see why not. it’s not like enlisted is HA extensively.
even though i long for actual Australians Voice lines to the various squads.
Kinda not fair that the chinese and the french gets VAs with very few squads.
( apparently, even female chinese voice lines were found in the game )
while australian in enlisted has 6 squads already.
… can’t even apply voice lines manually because frikin audio mods have been turned off.

I would second that the hats, at least the sluch hat, be added to regular cusmomisation in the Pacific campaign. Then, the Aussie squad gets to be the only one to bring slouch hats to every campaign.
I think that’s the best implementation.

No because then youre forced to use Aussie squad to have Aussie soldiers.
‘British’ soldiers in Tunisia for example should be able to have slouch hats to make them Australians fighting in the desert war.

I mean, fair, though there weren’t any Aussies in Europe (AFAIK)…
Then I would suggest giving the event Aussie squad a version of the slouch hat that has a side pinned up (which is how they would have worn it anyway traditionally, though I don’t remember odd the topnof mybyead which side it was that was prefered to pin).
That way, at least, the event squad still have something unique to them in terms or cosmetics.

Sod the event squad, national uniforms shouldnt be locked behind paywalls or once in a lifetime event.
Dont they have a unique weapon?
There were Aussies in Europe in Greece & Crete [respected by the Germans], RAAF and POWs (some who fought like Lawrence Saywell fought alongside Czech partisans and Soviet POWs against Nazis in 1945, Ernie Brough with Yugoslavian partisans etc.)
New Zealanders in Italy, including Monte Cassino.
