Add shovels to other campaigns

shovels would be extremely useful in other campaigns, Normandy would benefit the most specifically from shovels because there are very few structures in any map on normandy

Idk about normandy since that is extremely fast paced

we got 2 maps with huge beaches (sand) in normandy and another huge map with a swamp then another huge map with a forest and wheat fields… like the only map that’s got a decent amount of buildings is that one with the church and crashed airplane

the maps might be good but the pace is too fast for it to actually work since it does take time to dig

the pace is about the same as it is on tunisia…

yeah, just with less bomb and rocket.

I’m not against adding shovel to other campaign but they’re currently close to useless ngl

you’ve obviously never been in a match with me when im shovelling… i literally create entire trench systems that span from building to building…

if i were given shovels in normandy i wouldnt dig trenches, but rather a 1 tile hole for the most basic cover, it doesnt take long and is quite effective, too bad it only fits 2-3 soldiers at max > it would be great if other squadmates also digged some for their positions

id be digging trenches in normandy. its a friggen amazing map for foxholes

I couldn’t agree more. ​Since we already have shovel model placeholders on top of other soldiers in different campaigns. Personally, I would use shovels much more. let’s say, in the Moscow campaign than in Tunisia, based on the map structure. The shovels in the Tunisian campaign are virtually useless at the moment, as most fights happen inside the houses anyway.

Moscow needs them badly as well, but I’m sure it’s a work in progress.

Someone a while back used custom battles to test shovels on other maps, and it was very buggy compared to Tunisia.

Someone told me they had them equipped on all their soldiers, I assumed this was all campaigns, so went ahead and burned 50 bronze before economy update, but then realized only shovels in Tunisia campaign currently.

@Keofox hi any intention to let us use in other campaigns?
