Free event slot is boring, why not to make it as the event reward for, idk 100k or 200k points?

Good idea, in fact all slots should cost gold and players should start with 1 so if they die they’re forced to spectate the entire match unless they pay

Well event slot is kinda supreme stuff, so IMHO every player should achieve it, not just get it and only 20k price would be way to small price for it.
Actually this even might be mission reward, like the one with 100 kills in one match, but with 200k points gathered in total
Why should something that is given out for free be locked behind a barrier? Premium slots are unlocked automatically. For what reason should it be locked?

200k to unlock another event slot sure but the first one being free is fine. many players still have 4 slots to play with so the 5th one is a great improvement to the game
