The thing I love most about this game, and its unique feature, are the squads. Customising your own squad with uniforms, weapons and soldiers is my favorite part of the game. While you can get by with the number currently in the tech-tree, subfactions lack squads, limited squad specialist choices and vehicle discrepancy. This selling-point feature can be maximised in some many different ways for a longer term benefit from something that actually revolves around the core concepts of enlisted.
Adding new squads, potentially at the end of the tech-tree, can revive this entire feature in the later game.
Benefitting players with greater choice and being able to reduce the bloat on some vehicle squads (like off of the Japanese fighter 3 squad).
While devs can benefit from higher levels of player activity that can spread across all four factions.
