Nobody keeps medic squads around because of how stupidly limited they are in class selection. You’re only allowed to use medics in a medic squad, no engineers, no radio operators, no AT gunners, nothing except medics.
This is in contrast to premium medic squads which DO get an engineer.
Give medic squads the options to include other classes just like an assaulter squad can. In fact, just make medic squads the exact same as an assaulter squad except the assaulter classes are medics instead.
The medic squads are the only squads in the game that are forbidden from including other classes, and this makes them even more unappealing to use besides the fact they can’t use a backpack.
By giving medic squads more class variety, they would no longer be ridiculously inferior to assaulter squads. This would create more diversity in squad selection.

Honestly, I think they could remove medics and the game wouldn’t lose much. Bring back assaulter 1’s at a minimum

Technically you can get assaulter 1 gold order soldiers from the silver box, but I guess you’re shit out of luck if you’re japan, lol
I would be happy if we at least could put 1 engineer in our medic squads.

I mean, I still have a bunch of assaulter 1s and the legacy squads, but for new players, being locked out of assaulters until BR2/tier 2 research is abominable.
Medic squad is one of the saddest things in Enlisted. Apart from the premium ones available, the TT option will always be a poor man’s assaulter squad. I think they should get a unique buildable structure, or a vehicle. Which one, I don’t know. As currently they only have one gimmick, and it’s very half-assed.
They could simply start with a more efficient way of healing nearby teammates using the AI. Have a command that orders them to heals all the cross symbols you get on your screen based in proximity. The very few times I’ve played medic squad for fun, I’m always zig-zagging trying to heal all nearby teammates just by myself. You can get a lot of points like that, it’s a change of pace to just gunning and running, and it helps your team. But meanwhile my squad is just standing there. They’re not even that good at fighting by themselves, so it’s either having them being better fighters or better healers.

I don’t dislike the Medic squads, I just dislike the fact that they can’t carry additional ammo. I do use all my original game medic squads, usually with whatever smg gives me the most ammo.
