As the war progressed the Luftwaffe was looking to replace their aging Bf 110s as, while proving highly adaptable to a variety of roles, it became increasingly clear that it needed major improvements to remain competitive against Allied designs. Thus they turned to the Zerstörer’s original designer Emil Messerschmitt, most famous for the Bf 109 line of fighters, who would produce the Me 210 as successor to the Bf 110 line.
During tests the original design would prove highly unstable, stiff, and was generally disliked by pilots of which more than crashed or died due to its poor handling. In any case the aircraft would not go on to replace the Bf 110 but instead would lead to further developments that would lead to the introduction of the Me 410 which, while still not entirely replacing the original Zerstörer, would prove good enough to enter service in the latter years of the war and did so adequately.
However amidst the original development phase a series of Me 210 were slatted to be produced by Hungary, and while the majority were intended to be sent to Germany, a substantial amount of them were to stay in Hungarian soil where they would major improvements that would fix its instability issues and enter service with the Hungarian air force under the designation of the Me 210 Ca-1 where it would prove to be a successful close air support platform being fitted with the Me 210/Me 410 set of bomb loadouts, alongside other modifications such as a 40mm in its bomb bay or triple Wfr. Gr. 21 rocket pods on either side of the wings.
To avoid Me 210 just worse version of the Me 410 already in game with the same payload, instead of the standard version, the Me 210 Ca-1 36M would be the one I propose be added.
This version was the one fitted with a 40 mm Bofors L/60 cannon so as to serve as an aerial tank buster in the same vane as Hs 129 B-3 Duck and the Bf 110 G series with the 3.7cm BK cannon pod and, according to war thunder stats, it could make use of AP with a max of 79mm of penetration or SAPHEI ammo with a maximum penetration of 68mm (penetration stats gained from war thunder wiki).
Additionally the aircraft in this configuration could further be fitted with the aforementioned Wfr. Gr. 21cm triple rockets on both wings, giving it a total capacity for 6 six rockets as additional payload.
While the forward armament remains a pair of MG 151 20mm cannons and the standard 13mm remote controlled turrets as seen in the Me 410s.
This would make it a really good addition to Axis CAS and make it quite competitive with other alternatives as a side-grade, if not upgrade, to the Bf 110 G-2 as well as serve as excellent Hungarian representation in game.
Edit: in addition to the aforementioned ordinance, the aircraft could also be fitted with additional 4x50kg bombs
