why can an armoured jeep not be a APC
Because it can’t do the two core jobs of an APC at the same time:
carry multiple soldiers + protect them with armour
A jeep like the Willys MB is simply too:
- Small → only fits a few people
- Light → can’t support meaningful armour
If you add enough armour to actually protect troops:
- it becomes too heavy
- the engine and suspension can’t cope
- you lose speed and reliability
Meanwhile, a real APC like the M3

If you do the opposite to the tanks u mentioned - removing this armour, it is no longer a tank

as someone who have been asking for it’s implementation since the begging and kinda started the whole " movement " if you can call it that with apcs as well ( at least on the forums. i don’t… look others places that often. nor want to take full credits ),

anyway, guys like wlnecro remind of the all past nansayers about apcs claiming and screaming how maps were too small for it and made no sense or that said additions would have been a waste of development.

A jumbo without appliqué armor is still a tank. The armor is an added sheet of metal. Same with super Pershing. Jeep is already a personnel carrier. With armor it becomes. Surprisingly. An armored personnel carrier.

Here are the reasons why sigh u never read and ngl dont think u ever will:
- Capacity: APCs are meant to carry a squad (typically 6–10 troops). A jeep can only carry 2–4 at best.
- Protection: APCs provide all-around, integrated armour against small arms and shrapnel. Bolting plates onto a jeep doesn’t give consistent or sufficient protection.
- Structure & mobility under load: APCs are engineered from the ground up to handle armour weight (chassis, suspension, engine). A jeep isn’t — adding real armour would overwhelm it
So like. Armor + personnel carrier = a personnel carrier that’s armored. Aka. An armored carrier.
Uni carrier doesn’t follow those rules.
This is just my take on things, but I see Enlisted as a remake of Heroes and Generals, and they had some good ideas—it would be cool to bring some of those elements back.
In any case, I hope they’ll add German uniforms in the next major update.
That’s wordplay, not classification. By that logic, a bicycle with body armour strapped to it is an APC.
