We finally should get a friends text chat (to coordinate in battle with our friends/group specifically) & lobby text chat (to coordinate loadouts etc.) option, so we are able to communicate with one another, no matter if we are grouped with friends, random players or clan mates.
It is very bad to be forced to alt-tab out of the game, just to be able to type a message to a friend with another program (especially in battle it means death) → therefore we really need an in-game means to talk to one another and not having to spam team text chat. Thanks!
And in case you wonder why text chat: There are players that are actually mute who play this game and text chat is something most people should be able to use that have a keyboard for input.

This game not having a chat system is totally stupid - sure you dont have to deal with slurs and toxic chats, but without a proper chat system there is no chance to find new friends in the game.
People making friends is the most important thing for the longevity of the game.

Perhaps this will make the game look rather mundane, but based on past experience, it’s definitely a good suggestion!

I have to agree there @IronFist19, it amazes me every time that something as basic as this has not been in game from the very beginning (just makes no sense to me).

It would be interesting to hear what those that voted against the possibility to communicate with your group/friends in-game and lobby have against that. Being able to communicate is vital to win, it is a basic feature that should have been in the game from the get go.
What’s more without being able to talk to your group/friengs/clan mates in-game, it really feels like you play Enlisted “together”, but are actually playing “alone”, since you can not chat with the people you are grouped up with outside of using team chat or alt-tabbing out using some 3rd party program to send a text.
They could add an option to disable the specific text chats (for those that do not seem to want it), but again how do those players communicate in that case?
