Historical background
The 1st American Volunteer Group (AVG), nicknamed the “Flying Tigers,” was a group of volunteer pilots and ground crew from the U.S. military recruited to defend China against Japanese forces, which operated extensively over Burma in 1941-1942.
Serving as a combat unit of the Republic of China Air Force, the AVG’s P-40s were marked with Chinese Nationalist ‘Blue Sky, White Sun’ insignia on the wings and displayed Chinese military serial numbers instead of American markings.
In-game implementation
Only in Burma – this skin should be only assigned to the Burma campaign (to avoid its appearance in other unfitting battles). NB: not premium, not event, not available anywhere besides Burma.
China’s first – as the first portrayal of the Chinese Air Force in the game, adding this skin would mark the first appearance of an aircraft with authentic Chinese insignia in Enlisted.
Preferably, this should be added as a Burma-specific skin option unlocked via an event when we get campaign-based planes customization.
Alternatively, for now since we don’t have plane skins yet, all P-40 models in Burma could potentially use this skin.
Bonus: blood chit for the pilot
To further enhance the cool factor, the P-40 pilot model could be updated with a leather flight jacket featuring a “blood chit” sewn onto the back — a vital survival patch printed with Chinese characters to identify the pilot as a friendly aviator to local civilians.
A tiny detail but it would be nice to see a pilot like this fighting on your side in Burma.

Translation:
“This foreign person has come to China to help in the war effort. Soldiers and civilians, one and all, should rescue and protect him.”

No thanks, take uniqueness away from my premium purchase… it appears this has came full circle
We need to get a plane skin system asap. It annoying that you have to use desert camos on spitfires and hurricanes when flying in normandy. Easy red 2 recently started adding enviroment based camos on their planes. I am hoping for something similar in enlisted

Which uniqueness of your premium purchase?
There is no Chinese insignia P-40 in Enlisted.

There is the flying tiger one… which is the name of post and one of your pictures
Pardon if i’m mistaken… however i genuinely do think this is taking away some of the cool factor from the skin… granted its main feature is the 500lb bomb
But it doesn’t have the Chinese insignia.
However, weirdly enough it does seem to have Japanese flags (?) as kill markings?

Which would make sense if it was fighting against Japan
But it was added as part of the Tunisia campaign?

Yeah I noticed that… I suppose if it has the Chinese insignia then you have a point… maybe that’s when they didn’t have any thoughts of adding chinese forces… i don’t know why they chose the flying tiger one though as im looking up 49th fighter group and finding no mention of them

I did not know that they had already used this decal set for that premium

But fortunately there are quite a few other options to make a different “Chinese service” P-40:

I thought you were against the idea of seeing Chinese soldiers invading Tunisia and Normandy, and yet you are making a suggestion for a chinese marked plane that would end-up in Normandy and Tunisia as well.
Because No, plane skins ingame can not be set to specific theaters of operation given that they are considered in game as an entirely different plane.
As for the suggestion, why not, but currently there is no way to contain this skin only for Burma.

Absolutely, that’s why I highlighted the following:
That’s why I mentioned that this could either become the default Burma skin for now, or when we get customization options this should become one of the variants to be selected only within Burma.
Consider this a suggestion for the future.
