title: suggestion:Add Char 2C as a Premium/MemeVehicle.
Hi development team,really want to see the Char 2C in Enlisted.Since Enlisted shares 3D models and assets with War Thunder, it shouldn’t take too much development time and cost to port it over.We don’t need it to be a meta-dominant or overpowered tank.Even if it’s slow and weak against infantry explosives, we just want it because moving the historical super heavy tank is super cool.If you implement it as a Premium Squad around 3,000Gold, it will be extremely cost-effective for development and many players (including myself)will definitely buy it immediately.It would be a huge win-win for both the player community and your business.Please consider adding this legendary land battleship to the game! Thankyou.
Here are some realistic ideas for the game mechanics:
Crew size limit: Limit the playable crew to 5 or 6 members (standard for heavy tank squads in Enlisted). The remaining seats can be empty, or filled with “visual-only AI” who cannot dismount.
Multi-turret control: Use the existing multi-turret system (like the T-28 or Ta-Se). The player controls the 75mm main gun, and hitting the weapon switch button toggles to the rear machine gun turret or hull machine guns.
Matchmaking / BR: Place it at BR 2. Its armor and machine guns are great against infantry, but its slow speed and weak 75mm anti-tank performance will keep it balanced.
Now, in my personal opinion: I don’t really see what sense would make adding 2Cs to the game. There is not a french faction, the French destroyed most of them after the Battle of France and Enlisted maps are too little for a so massive vehicle. Plus, it’s slow and clumsy, any AT gunner could aim to it from a safe distance and easily destroy it, or any trooper could sneak to it and use an explosive pack or TNT.

Regarding your points, you are absolutely right. It would be slow, clumsy, and very easy for AT gunners or infantry to destroy.
But that is exactly why I want it as a “3,000 Gold Premium / Meme vehicle.” It’s not meant to be a competitive meta tank. It’s for players who just want to enjoy the pure historical romance of operating a giant land battleship, even if it gets blown up in 2 minutes.
There is no possible unit that used them anyway, it wouldn’t make sense to add a French squad to the allies since there barely are 2 French thematic squads which did fought alongside the Allies. The Germans captured only one, one unit that was inmediately sent to Berlin for propaganda purposes. The 2C never saw combat, wouldn’t have a proper squad to use it and doesn’t really make sense when other multiturreted tanks could be added, particularly the T-35 which did see combat during the Winter War and Operation Barbarossa, or even other French tanks that fought during WW2, like the B2 which saw combat during the Battle of France and Operation Barbarossa

You have excellent historical knowledge, and I totally agree with you on T-35 and B1bis/B2! I would absolutely love to see them in the game as well.
However, Enlisted already has some fictional or very rare “what-if” elements, like AS-44, prototype weapons, or premium squads with rare gear.
That’s why I think the Char 2C fits perfectly as a standalone Premium Squad or an Event Reward. Since it’s a paid/event meme vehicle, the devs don’t need to create a whole new French faction. They can just release it as a unique “Captured Vehicle Squad” for Germany (using the 10th vehicle captured in history) or as a special Free French volunteer squad for the Allies.
For me, the T-35 is a great dream, but the Char 2C is the ultimate romance. I hope the devs can bring both of them from War Thunder someday!
i would like to have a full ostruppen / french legion line up for germany,
and considering there are lots of french vehicles from war thunder to port over ( that the germans actually used ) i’m not actually opposed.
as far the char 2c… not sure.
but i still voted yes.
why not,
after all, we have more niche vehicles and others that performs somehow worse.
if it allows to get some bucks for devs even if of niche, i don’t see why not.
