Add basic paintjobs for each map by default and for free

Not what I meant, its just that a free white camo shouldnt be looking just as good as a buyable version. Otherwise people who got those will get screwed

refund, like they did in the past

No, rather have camos for appearance change orders

Yeah its weird that you cant

I would literally be over the god damned moon if they just made the solid colors with no patterns free for the appropriate biome. The soldiers get a default outfit that is (somewhat) appropriate to the map and you can grind/pay to change it…idk why the vehicles should be any different

Yes default bland camo should be free, the fancy one should cost gold/customization order.

of course, but looking from their perspective its unlikely

Yeah but tbh I think any change the players want is unlikely lol

for most of the time yea

Sooo… I unlocked a white Pz IV F1 during the Moscow Campaign

Then Gaijin stole it from me with the Merge and made it grey

And now I am expected to pay 250 gold to have it back?

Update to this suggestion:

Remove irrelevant camo options from certain campaigns.

E.g. just like you can’t dress your soldier in desert uniform for Stalingrad, you shouldn’t be able to buy/equip “late winter” camouflage for Tunisia:

They should rework all the system.

250 gold ? Too exensive !

Locking a camouflage purchased on a single vehicle, without being able to transfer it to another vehicle if you want to change vehicles? Absurd !

Locking some symboles out of the appropriate campaign (like the DAK logo on some tanks/bike) ? Nonsense !

The devs did a good job by allowing players to choose camo based on the campaign. Now they need to finish the job.
Ok they need to make money, but by this way, I gonna buy nothing.

Update to this suggestion No.2:

Decals should be tied to the campaign preset.

E.g. I want my T-34-85 to have the 3rd Tank Corps emblem for Berlin/Far East:

But if/when a snowy late-war map comes for the Soviets (Stalingrad/Rzhev don’t count, T-34-85 didn’t exist then), I will want to use the white Dmitry Donskoy paintjob:

Then the white triangle emblem stays on the white camo and interferes with the lettering:

Suggestion: decals should be linked to campaign presets just like paintjobs are:

They just need to do it like WT, where you can have set preset for separate skins on the same vehicle.

Suggestion No.3:

Vehicles should get period-appropriate paintjobs by default.

For example, we have several planes which it automatically come with black-and-white invasion stripes, which obviously were not used before the Normandy invasion of June 1944.

Spitfire LF Mk IX (США, БР II)

For pre-1944 maps such as Tunisia, we should be getting a generic skin without the stripes.

After 5 years of this “WW2 game” development, how is it permitted to allow Winter White into Tunisia?

Why are premium squad buyers punished?

Besides, we really need plane skins to also change automatically depending on the map:

Y’know, for the longest time I though the panzer 38(t)s were common-place in north africa, but then you said that they in fact weren’t, so I did some research and turns out, you’re right. Thanks for the motivation.

Suggestion No.4:

Campaign specific vehicles should change their leaves/branches depending on the map.

It doesn’t make any sense to see tanks with palm leaves in snowy Ardennes.

2.5 years after the Merge have passed and we still can’t fix desert camo tanks in Stalingrad and snowy white planes in Manchuria?

Its baffling how little care is given to this and how we had all this before the Merge.
