P.S.
Yes it’s a repost.
though, that post did not have the poll. so here we are.
while i understand it’s not a priority,
i’m not a fan of the fact that, in enlisted, the chinese have fewer squads, as well as the french ( granted, more will eventually come ), have dedicated VAs.
yet the Australians that have currently 5 squads ( enough to fill an entire line up just like the italians ) still uses the british VAs instead of new ones dedicated to 'em.
to iterate, add Australians VAs to the following squads:
allies_pacific_prem_pilot_fighter_1
squad_aus_partisan_2
allies_pacific_prem_sniper_1
allies_pacific_event_assault_1
squad_aus_tanker_2_premium_2
Just some examples
( yes, examples above are a bit cheesy and stereotipical. but they deserve their own voice lines just like the french and chinese squads if not more. )
we need more love for aussies!

no.
they are supposedly Chindits.
and the Long range penetration group is a conjointed indian and british special operation unit.
so it makes sense to be english.
( given the face too )
appears to be all british:

That’s interesting. I always assumed these squads were australian due to the uniforms

Probably not, Chindits were of the British and Indian armies, as far as I am aware.
As for the suggestion itself:
I agree with adding Australian voicelines, but the implementation on a tech tree squad woule be troubleing, depending on how it’s done.
I’ve personally turned my guerrilla squad into Airborne troops (as best I can, when I have neither maroon berets or paratrooper helmets in regular cosmetics). I don’t know if a forced voice override on a TT squad the best implementation, it would reduce player choice in the customization of their squads…

Can confirm, this is how we speak
Would be cool to get New Zealand voice lines for the MG squad too.

Forget about Mandarin and Sichuan dialect; they sounded extremely awkward on the European battlefield. It would have been great if the Australian soldiers stationed in British camps could speak their own Australian accents—at least the Allies would have had one more faction with its own national language.
