Add AT Grenades to bombers instead of detpacks

Detpacks themselves shouldn’t destroy any vehicles outside of the lightest of armoured cars. For anything bigger than that should just be tracked or lit on fire if placed on the engine deck
I think we should add actual AT grenades to bombers that can OHK tanks if thrown at something important like ammo or crew all in a line. Should instantly knock things like the engine out and light it on fire if thrown into the engine deck

Detpack lethality to infantry should be almost nil as well

AT grenades and attachable AT mines should be added to replace detpacks as AT

We should just remove det packs period and restrict bazookas to one per side.
(it’s realistic…not everyone had rocket launchers okay??? nor did they have explosive satchels in all their pockets? chill with the downvotes)\

I’ve seen @_31420124242011 tank and he kills 150 people per match right now and just imagine if we nerfed the ridiculous det packs. we’d be looking at some pretty impressive numbers. Very sick, very gnar gnar bo bo.

I have to agree, irl a detpack of, what, 6 sticks of TNT, wouldn’t do much to a tank other than knock off the track or maybe damage the engine if it lands on the engine deck. Not to mention the cancerous use of them as replacements for grenades is just the most annoying thing i’ve ever seen. Tell me with a straight face that every soldier in ww2 was running around with with packs of TNT on their kit when that space on their webbing could be used for ammo or normal frag grenades.

Right! exactly! 99% of infantry should not have access any counter to tanks. You know what the infantry did when tanks showed up? KISSED THEY ASS GOOD BYE LMAO!

Yeah they should never replace grenades either. I read somewhere that they had a gentleman’s agreement in WWII to never throw explosives larger than a single hand grenade at each other and this was across the globe with all combatants.

The gebaltladung (six hand grenades tied together) was never used against people for example, satchel charges were never used against people either.

This is a panzerkettengranate one of the first anti-tank grenades ever invented. This was invented during the November Revolution in Germany when the ruling Monarchy started to become afraid of the rebels capturing and using armored cars against loyalist troops. Note it’s traditional ignition lit wick and cast iron casings.

On a more modern note! This British anti-tank grenade (No. 73 grenade) was filled with nitrogelatine in a tin casing. It was rather fragile and prone to detonation from impact. Standard spring-loaded needle fuze.

AT gernades would be very useful in enlisted since bombers could get more weapons. Certain rifle gernades had anti tank variants along with the many AT gernades on the British gamma bomb the allies use or the magnetic german at gernade. Satchel bombs should be used to blow open walls or to make a ditch tank like trap and of course just the simple barricades.
Having AT gernades would help the gernade spam in enlisted.

You could also just make mines you place on vehicles able to be used by everyone
Like the magnetic mine the Germans used

All infantry need to be able to kill tanks. Tanks are extremely powerful as is and you want to BUFF them? This is a game for infantry. Not for tanks

I want more AT variety and actual realism from the game
A couple sticks of dynamite won’t kill a tank much less infantry
It can immobilize it
But we need something more
AT grenades don’t even have to be bomber specific, but they certainly shouldn’t nuke infantry

Me playing tanks dealing with detpacks that are unrealistic and OP

You can honestly just attribute disconnects to people being taken off life support

If they remove the det packs they’ll have to add a very early AT grenade unlock to fill the slot. If we move it too late it will leave a massive gap in AT abilities which this game loves to do

Honestly detpacks would still have a place in Moscow
@67929529 and I have been discussing it
Thrown under a tank in Moscow would still obliterate it

How about a panther in Normandy or Berlin? Or Jumbos? Currently det packs are the only equalizer for starting players and even late game

Anti-tank grenades should be added and should be a one hit kill to tanks
no more than 20m throwing range
no more than 10m blast range for infantry

If we get more sophisticated defensive structures detpacks can be reserved for sapping them or blowing holes in walls or buildings (think stalingrad, pavlovs house, tractor factory)

HE fragmentation bundles would be the middle ground between the two being pretty equally effective as both anti-vehicle and anti-infantry, not being effective as a thrown shaped charged but being more universal. This would include any sort of wire bound grenade bundles like the russian and german variants.

To recap

Panzerwurfmine= one hit kills vehicles, does poor on infantry due to shaped charge cone of blast energy/shrapnel

Detpack = good for sapping buildings, defensive structures, if overpressure can be added these should clear out entire bunkers. Poor against tanks, poor against infantry in the open, great against infantry in enclosed spaces.

HE frag bundles = good but not great against both tanks and infantry.

Fragmentation grenades = great against infantry

That’s where the AT grenades would come in
They’d defo have to OHK things like ammo and cause an instant cookoff

Then I’d be all for it. I currently see people just run past enemy tanks or throw one det pack to have it bounce. AT grenades would be great

id like a impact-triggered at grenade if possible, but thats likely my need to l2p talking (not a troll, i rly do)

That would be the RPG grenades if i recall correctly

Italians, russians and I believe british all had impact grenades.

Not a learn to play issue, impact grenades have both tactical advantages and disadvantages and I’d like to see the squad loadouts in general get more varied and different.

Impact grenades would suck and simply not work around blind corners and in super close quarters.

There is also grenades that have high explosive energy but low frag or low energy and high fragmentation.

@_31420124242011 They have standard infantry fragmentation grenades armed with impact fuzes. often used for assaults.
