Im not sure how this would be implemented, but what i imagine is an sdkfz 251 with an mg42 (like the premium one) rolling into battle as just a regular vehicle without being used as a spawn point.
I imagine similar vehicles for the other factions, armed with just a machine gun.
One way to implement these, is to add them as an unlockable rider squad of some sort or even giving them to tank squads, tho i think it would be better to have them as a regular infantry squad that spawns with a vehicle.
You can immediately see the utility of such squads being used to attack objectives with little cover leading up to them.
Dedicated IFV’s would be cool however maps are too small and overcrowded with obstacles and the infantry is too saturated for IFV’s to have a real effect on matches in higher Br’s, if we had county side field battles like the early summer invasion of Russia or the outskirts of Moscow big fields with Moscow in the far background then absolutely IFV’s would be useful and fun, its a addition that currently as the game sits would only really function in low Br’s like 1 or 2 and even then i slightly worry of destroyed 251 wrecks Just forming a blockade/traffic jam to the objective.

I agree, the Rider 2 Class has been asked for a long time frankly, many iconic Armoured Cars could see their hayday yet, instead of just being relegated to BR1 tanks. Could even lead into a Rider 3 Class which gets vehicles like the Hummel or Priest, all BR appropriate ofc.
I would allow Rider 1 and Rider 2 classes the ability to have a wider map area to flank and scout a bit more easily, which could be balanced by having their Armoured Cars adjusted up in BR relative to tanks of a similar BR. For example, something like a Sdkfz 221 with a 2cm would fit into BR2 despite having very little armour and a BR1 tank weapon, balanced with the ability to flank far wider across the map.

I rather look at this as a map design issue.
