There’s nothing we can do about it. Players themselves pushed for the tech tree nerfs. 
It kinda can fill the fighter but in attacker slot role with its amount of guns and manoverability.
It would kinda be like the Ki 83. nobody uses it for its payload but to dodfight while the fighter slot has already been taken (way to common in BR 5).
But still doesnt justifly it beeing BR 5.

The 1000lb bombs for the meteor always were british. So nothing about that had changed.
The problem is that, for the Allied forces, the P-47 already exists — a fighter that can also perform air-to-air combat while carrying an extremely large payload… I do think the F7F has better air superiority performance than the P-47, but…
Plenty of people love to complain about “50cal are useless against planes” so now they have 20mm guns aswell to use.

The premium only recently became better than the tech tree version—before the bomb nerf, the Meteor had the same bomb load but with better maneuverability, survivability, and forward armament. You’re just being a sophist. In what way is it better than the best planes of its rank? Probably in no way. But it’s already better than the rest of what Germany has, for example. Look at the Me 410 or the Do 335. The first one has the same bomb load, but I’d wager worse maneuverability, speed, and forward armament. The Dornier is a plane that breaks if you so much as sneeze on it, and its forward armament is worse. Plus, in-game it never reaches its stated speed. Or what, were they supposed to deliver an overpowered plane to you every patch? Lol, just…

You’d better explain why the German tree is littered with such rare garbage. No other faction gets as many BR increases as the Germans do. The Sturmpanzer is now equal to the KV-2 and SU-122. Same story with the Pz.III N. The Bf 110 G is a tier IV plane, solidly and clearly — while the Ju 188, with no forward armament and low speed, is equal to the B-25 with its battery of Brownings and the Tu-2S. The Me 410s are sitting at BR IV and V, even though they’d be perfectly fine at BR III. How’s that Xa-38 doing, by the way? One ton of bombs and a 75mm cannon up front at BR III. Balanced?

That aside, you’re literally trying to rig the game in one direction. Maybe we should add the Arado 234 instead? Or the He 162, or the Me 163, or the Ho 229? Oh, and let’s not forget - in real life, the US and Britain didn’t use jet aviation in World War II. And this new plane simply isn’t needed in the tech tree. The Americans already have good fighters, attack planes, and tanks. And the T20 is far from bad. And by the way, it’s mostly the Americans who do the toxic spamming of this nonsense. So your attempts to defend the Americans in terms of vehicles are pretty lukewarm. And usually these players are talentless as well. Shoot them down a couple of times or blow up their tank, and that’s it - they’ve bailed. If I were you, I’d worry more about your home islands than about the Americans.

Yeah it can be BR IV with the Corsair thats the other option also not a bad suggestion since you will have some chances when you are up tiered against jets. The F7F-1 has some chances against jets but its bad against small and nimble fighters like the Ki-83 that is also bad against such fighters.
