I have ear ringing irl and it is physically uncomfortable for me to have to hear high pitched ringing sounds inside of the game when an explosion happens nearby.
originally I remedied this by modding the ear ringing out but sound mods are discontinued so now I’m just forced to listen to unpleasant noises
Modern games like Battlefield 6 offer accessibility options to remove ear ringing, why does Enlisted not do the same?
(Explosions should still mute the game audio, just do it without the high pitched ringing)

There’s literally an option for it… why doesn’t it work?
And how does it work? Does enabling it make it worse… or better???
I too suffer from tinnitus from destroying my eardrums with earbuds… I hate hearing ringing noises.
And to the one who voted no and any in the future… try having tinnitus yourself and see how much you like having it reproduced in a game.
yup, we need a setting like R6S, 3 options, Mute, ring and wave

I’m pretty sure I got permanent hearing damage because when I was a very young child, my cousins thought it would be a fun idea to teach me how to shoot their AR-15 and shotguns without any hearing protection. Oh well

@Euthymia07-live I’m sorry to bother you, but this is a quality of life/accessibility feature I am personally very interested in seeing implemented. Can you please take a look at this and forward this suggestion?
All I’m asking is for a toggle to mute one .wav file
The tinnitus ear ringing sound is located here
cmn_sfx_effect.assets → tinnitus_1.wav
You can mute this .wav file and explosions will still mute the game, there is no gameplay advantage to this, I simply do not want the game to play very high pitched noises in my ears.
Thank you for your time
