It is a premium squad with Turner SMLE - analogue of Walther A115 or Gewehr 41.
They can call normal artillery and a bomber raid, but they have no access to rocket artillery.
People who have missed the event will be happy

They should make rocket artillery available for all Radio operators. It can be an upgrade

I second this, Premium and event rockets are unlocked by default. The rest are unlocked via leveling the radio squads.
Not all, only rank II radio operators.

Usually a high level squad had some sort of gimmick behind them, let’s look at the machine Gunner squad. You would unlock a heavy MG with the second version of that squad. So I can support this going to just radio man II squads.
