Ki-109 (BR 2) - a much faster, compared to its German sibling, carrier of a 75mm cannon, with APHE shells capable of destroying enemy tanks and hitting infantry squads alike. Since AP shells hold 460g of TNT, splash damage would be decent (same shell as Ho-I has), however cannon rate of fire is just 21 rpm, compared to 40 rpm of Hs.129, thus Ki-109 should be just a single BR step higher than Hs.129.
Cannon RoF: 21 r/min, 15 shots of APHE with 83mm pen, 460g TNT.
Ki-102 Otsu (BR 2) - a heavy interceptor armed with a 57mm cannon, loaded with HE shells of 310g TNT, great for taking down bombers and infantry thanks to high rate of fire, useless against any serious armor. Not too fast, not too slow. Because of its non-armor focus, it shouldn’t have too high of a BR.
Cannon RoF: 80rpm, 16 shots of HE with 310g TNT.
Ki-49-2/L (BR 3) - a rather heavy bomber, which can be armed with 4x250kg bombs. Hard to turn around and make precise strikes with, quite slow, yet having a lot of turrets to catch an enemy pilot who sits on its tail for too long. In a way, it’s a Japanese answer to the XA-38 that USA has in our game, with similar bomb load but without a 75mm cannon.
P1Y1 (BR 4) - a dive bomber which lacks anti-aircraft capabilities, but makes good work of enemy tanks, thanks to 2x 500kg bombs in its bomb bay.
B7A2 (BR 3-4) - the “Japanese Stuka” which could be armed with anything: a lot of small 60kg bombs to cover large area (which would place it well at BR 3), a balanced load of 60kg and 250kg, or a devastating 800kg bomb, the latter 2 variants making it worth BR 4. Relatively slow, but 2x20mm cannons each loaded with 200 shots make it a good turnfighter.
The forbidden, the unspoken of, the feared R2Y2 (BR 5) - a prototype jet bomber with much better than Kikka engines, 4x30mm cannons loaded with 150 shots each instead of 50, and capability of carrying the same 800kg bomb. Not much else to say here. There are also V2 and V3, with the main difference of the engines placed inside the fuselage. Can be implemented as the tech tree, event and premium vehicles.
