Active players per campaign

Would like to see a feature for the amount of active players and in which campaign there are fighting in.
Recently in the Battle for Moscow, it has felt like there has only been a handful of players, and even then, one good one on the enemy team has been holding up the entire battle.

I’d rather join matches in campaigns that I can see have more active players than trying to struggle through a match above.

Good idea, because I’d rather join a game I ‘want’ to play, so I don’t have to leave lol

In a way it’s understandable why they may not want to show such data. Knowing it players might all gather in one campaign leaving the rest (including the upcoming ones) unplayable and thus unprofitable. Except that if developers are actually using this logic, they already expect failure which in turm is likely to make it inevitable.

There are way too many other “made to fail” features as well. The very idea of separate campaigns is probably the biggest one. It’s at the core of everything in Enlisted and together with progression it’s basically designed to destroy the game over time.

Unless they dynamically advertise “deserted sides” with a good enough XP multiplier which makes it worth playing even together with bots against much better teams. When “grinding”, I would not mind a 100% sure loss with 5 times the usual XP.

i don’t think it’s a " failure one ". but instead, an interestering one.

perhaps i keep repeating my self, but do you know the formula of old games that despite their age, people still play them? ( as example, COH2, Ro2, MOW, War Thunder ).

it’s uniqueness. ( and yeah, some of them does not have many competitors ) but, the actual key alongside uniqueness, is PVE. ). alot of those games are still " alive " now days with people that keeps playing those because it’s supported with pve.

now, we can all agree and it’s undenayable that the AI needs huge works. but i don’t see how it would not work. i personally think that in order to help this game, PVE should be implemented with progression active. so that more people with bad internet, and people not very experienced with this type of game can somewhat be unified for enlisted ( which eventually, brings more money from those individuals as well ) and since enlisted is also about PVP, there’s always enough people to fill both gamemodes if done right.

the ““only”” issues that we have that " mine " the whole experience are:

  • lack of matchmaker based on skill/campaign levels ( which this one it’s a though one. no jokes )
  • lack of PVE gamemodes
  • tank models and planes are far from being done
  • actual balance between some weapons
  • CAS & Bombers

for the rest, it has some good potential, and interetrstring idea, but a lot of issues plague this title. and i think it’s just matter of time before more people will join.

after all, it’s a beta. and many people are skeptical about betas/alphas " early access games " typo.
because they feel like that they don’t have time ( or patience ) to give to the title.

that’s why we " came " to shift things around.
( even if sometimes looks like it’s not happening much ).
but i still think that we end up somewhere soon or later.

And not to forget that DF it’s a relatively small studio. So that’s why major updates aren’t released every months.

No one designs a feature to destroy the game they are making - stop posting moronic bullshit.

I, for one, LIKE the seperate campaigns :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh I’m sorry, I completely forgot that everyone loves what’s going on in Berlin campaign. And even if something was wrong with it, it’s clearly not connected to how campaigns work with progression. It’s just a freak accident no one could have predicted, and an even more bizarre conincidence that everyone did.

Also why would corporations compromise the product to increase profits? Right? Hardly anyone does it! How and why would it ever work anyway?! I wish people stopped spreading these dangerous conspiracy theories. It’s a good thing defenders of truth and justice were around to shut this moron up.

P.S. It’s not the end of the world. Nothing is. However, there will be consequences. There already are consequences and it will get worse unless they address the problems they created.
