Ok I placed 3 soldiers in the academy and trained them up only to discover that now I can’t get them out of training because I don’t have any academy orders??? WTH is this!!!
It says I can buy them out for 50G or I can get an order in the battle pass … And the only battle pass academy order that I can see is the big green ? which says you will receive a random order …
So if I understand correctly I cant get my soldiers out of the academy unless I pay real $$ to get them out or hope that the random order thing gives me the right order …
This is just ridiculous and unacceptable … Please tell me that this is just an over site and will be changed …
You’re misunderstanding how it works. Basically academy takes 3 any soldiers of same rank to evolve them into 1 single unit of a higher rank, for free. Using 3 soldiers of same class will guarantee a new soldier of same class. Mixing them gives you mixed chances. Academy in current state is a very early version of previous tests and its indeed possible its gonna change in the future.
No I don’t think I’m doing it wrong … I understand that I will only get 1 trooper back at rank 2.
I took 3 rank 1 troopers and added them to the academy. Then I hit the train button and wait the appropriate amount of time for the academy to complete. When it was through it asks you to choose which one of the three you want to get back .
I choose one of the troopers and I get a very annoying screen that tells me I dont have any training orders and I must pay 50G to get my rank 2 trooper out of the academy or wait for a training order in the battle pass.
if you go to the battle pass you will not see a training order card listed so my only recourse is to pay 50G to get my rank 2 soldier out of the academy …
If you dont believe me go to the battle pass and show me what level of the BP gives you a training order?
Last time i’ve used it during open beta (couple days ago) it worked in a way i’ve described from above, in a same way it worked during past couple years. Let me check this.
The monetization system in the game is ridiculous … now you cant train your soldiers unless you have a training order.
But the problem is the game doesn’t tell you that until after they have already been trained. If they are going to require you to have a training order to train up soldiers then check before soldiers are moved to the academy.
As it is now they hold your soldiers hostage until you have an order or you buy to buy one …
Ah, it looks like they have improved it a bit. Its basically same things i’ve told you, but with an option to avoid random chances if you mix soldiers. You can choose a class out of used mxied soldiers for $ or for some green order (which is definitely interesting when obtaining high class soldiers).
This option is completely optional. You can still use it for free and receive a soldier of needed class with 100% chance by uggrading 3 existing soldiers of same class OR “play” a gamble and let it choose randomly.
See above. You have to unselect desired soldier and let the system decide, unless you want to pay $ or use ticket. If you think unselecting isnt properly working - you should create a bug report in a bug section, its open beta test after all
Doh … Ok I see what I was doing wrong now … After the training time was up I was clicking on the button that says Choose soldier … I should have clicked on the blue button that says finished.
I would strongly suggest they reword those button captions to make it clearer what you are supposed to do. I would suggest they don’t even give you the option of choosing a soldier if you are already training 3 soldiers of the same class as I was doing.
Just remove that button in that situation because it’s not necessary. In the CBT they didn’t have that button and I had no problems training.

Basically lets you choose which soldier returns back from the 3 you sent to academy.
In my opinion the BP should be giving you like 10 of them, just giving you 1 is utterly pitiful.
