About updating the British customization

In the new update, the customization of the British was updated, they gave a green uniform for PO / Burma and updated the design of the faces, but there is something that I did not like at all.

1. Face design update

What have you done to the faces of the British?!

It’s like they haven’t washed in a month and now they don’t look like white Europeans at all.

Just make the faces brighter and cleaner.

2. Green uniform

Finally, the developers have added a green uniform for PO / Burma, but there is only one caveat. The green uniform is not basic.

Developers, why should I spend my cards on appearance!?

Make a green uniform basic!

I also noticed that there are no green trousers in the British event squads.

But still, thanks to the developers for taking the time and don’t forget the British!

Cool! Only thing missing is hats like these.

The Australian event squad have this hat.

These seem to be slightly different hats. The brim is narrower and holds its shape much better. And that thing I circled in red is missing.

Or it’s just a different color.

They’re both slouch hats.

That band in the midle is called a “puggaree”, and is just a cloth band woven around the base of the hat. This was a fairly common practice, by all Commonwealth nations.

I for one wish we got common access to the Austen squads slouch hats, then they could get one with with a side turned up just for the Austen squad. Generally speaking, that’s how the Aussies prefered to wear them anyway.

Don’t count on Gaijin to include WWII uniforms in a WWII game.

They have no idea what insignia and emblems are—EXCEPT for the USSR, where they manage to include 300 different uniforms with insignia.

And the times when they do give a unit a badge, it’s monstorously incorrect.

For some reason, the men of No. 1 Commando of the British Army wears the Royal Cipher of the Norwegian King Haakon VII. It’s literally just a crowned 7 over a stylized H, it’s Haakon’s initials, essentially.

Why on God’s good green earth are these soldiers wearing the insignia of a foreign king…!?

For a very long time, I considered this game to be the ultimate game and the quintessence of World War II.

But the more I play it, the more I realize it’s a historical sham, and they have the nerve to call themselves “realistic”—that’s what drives me crazy.
