About those bots

Beware all of this might be just a mindless babbling because i literally know nothing about programming things, let alone an AI for a bot so this is maybe just a ranting but…
This bot have some serious fucking problem. How can something be that bad yet that good at the same times? I literally just knifed an entire squad of 9 by jumping around and spamming mouse button, but for fuck sake when i try to shoot after a good flank i kill maybe 2 people than the other bot go full 360 no scope through my head.
Well i think the problem is with this, how can i call it? Danger zone? Danger meter? I think that if you shoot enough bullet near a bot this meter will go sky high triggerring some terminator response risulting in an instant headshot. No please try it. Miss some shot near a bot head, ill guarantee you that a bullet to your eyes will come surely like hot piss after a cold beer.
The problem here is there is no middle ground, they go from full retards to T1000 in a split if a second.
Isnt there an option to tune down those “danger meter”? How this thing work? Why if i miss some shot the probability of an insta kill goes from chicken with slingshot to space Marine with laser cannon?
… By the way with missed shot i mean just the first 3 shot of an automatic weapon for example. Not an entire magazine standing still!
Someone explain me how this work!

Those dumb bots are the reason I prefer Lone Fighters instead of Squads. Not only they get in your way, they also give your position away to everyone around.

Lone Fighters was by far the best thing they added in CBT.

Eh, bots can and do appear in Lone Fighters too. Though you’ll only find them at inactive times (like 3AM in the morning). And unlike squad bots, Lone Fighter bots are much more aggressive and do not wait for being shot back before becoming a T1000. Easy way to tell when you got bots in your lobby is if they are stuck on windows inside wooden buildings (if you play the moscow campaign), or if they are stuck trying to endlessly jump climb the first bunker in the normandy beach campaign. Pathfinding can bug out for them.

Nothing rustles my jimmies more than being shot the moment I exit a plane before I can even hit the ground, and it’s almost always a bot that does that thing. Normal players don’t usually bother staring a plane as it coasts low to the ground.

At the end of the day, since bots appear in Lone Fighter too, I prefer to just play Squads. You can make much more xp and progress in squads. Like 50+ kills per game, 5000+xp without premium. You aren’t getting that in Lone Fighter lobbies, even if you score top.
