Players camp a lot, to get this 10 kill streak, they would literally sit 200m away from the objective and not effectively support the team, (except those 2 guys that built me a rally, I forgive them). But yes the bottom line is the amount of people who don’t help their team effectively, increased. Might I suggest you start rewarding players as individuals? You know it’s only fair if you reward a player based on their performance and not how good his/her team was.
The problem is your playstyle (playing the objective) is rare to find amongst the player base which is mostly camping and sniping, well atleast that’s what happened to me, plus I finished the task just fine while rushing the objectives still.
I’ve talked with quite a few players, as I try to group up with at least one or two new people a day to get their opinions on things (so I can make my posts more included and aware).
From about 95% of players that I’ve talked to, they have said they would sit closer to the objective and help if there was a way to counter: grenade spam, flamethrower spam, artillery spam, and cracked runners (assaulters with movement speed increase).
Even the new players are constantly asking me if there is a way to actually decrease the number of entry points and increase the area in which their bots can be made useful rather than endlessly throwing bodies at an objective. That’s why so many sit back, its because they feel like by running forward and constantly dying, they are doing something wrong, and draining team tickets because of it. OR if they are on defense, they try to cover a side with a sniper as its all they have access to that kills with relative efficiency.
i… honestly forgot that task is there. it’s not that hard to get 10 collective kill in a team as long you know how to play and your enemy isn’t too smart/skilled.
… just to be clear, that task was all about “finish 3 battle where at least one squad have 10 collective rifle kills (count reset if squad is wiped out)”, right?
