So, yeah, the Market Garden one was not my favorite. It was repetitive with only one map and one gamemode, there was no incentive to win, mainly on the Allies side, the nerfing of the scores you get from taking down planes, again, no score boost for winning, the MASSIVE lag spikes and general server issues…meh.
I’m hoping these issues will be fixed in the next event. More maps, regular gamemodes, balanced teams / squads, upgraded weapons and decently perked soldiers, servers that can handle the amount of people who’ll be playing the event. (Even if we don’t get a squad, I think the event will be popular.) If it’s true and will have a British vs. Italians fighting in North Africa, to me at least, this event could be IT. So, maybe don’t mess it up?
As an Italian lover and a British supporter, I confess that I truly hope this event will be at least one of the best ever, in terms of two specific nations.
You could get a lot of kills and thus a lot of points without winning. What I meant is that there was no winning multiplier at the end of the battle giving you more XP and Silver.
I still don’t understand how that’s relevant, though. If my team plays better and we win, we should get a winning bonus in the events too. If we can get them in regular matches, I don’t think that’s too much to ask for.
Because the point simply doesn’t make any sense whatsover in context you have used it in.
When it comes to the bonus for winning, this event was no different from previous ones.
And I actually like the lack of a win bonus. It’s already too toxic in normal squad gamemode.
When all your rewards are not based on your personal results. But +50% of your potential rewards are based purely on whether the RNG placed you on a better team.
It only creates unnecessary stress, frustration and it supports desertion.
If you want incentives to win, go play some hardcore competitive games. (In those victory actually means something)
Not a unbalanced game when most of the time you’re just fighting brain-dead bots or casuals.
