So, Ive been thinking, since people who bought the founders pack get weapons, will Alpha players get weapons aswell? Or will they get a discount? I only find it fair to the alpha testers that they get something out of this, as it seems to give purchaser’s of the pack get a headstart advantage (in terms of weaponry). Tell me your thoughts, if they should or shouldn’t, and why you believe so. Thanks.

People that buy the founders pack will have no campaign progression, we had a weekend with double XP as a head start.
Please keep in mind that we have had the privilege to test the alpha, we are not entitled to anything 
The packs are dumb though, because they give you a second squad with SMGs, a squad you would not have otherwise. And this one can have up to 7 SMG users.

Indeed, it is a privilege to play this game, and the ability to play it for free, I honestly overlooked that.

Note that the game will be free to play once it hits open beta in the next 0,5-1,5 years.
Until then, buying a founders pack is the only way in.

We had a privilege to work for free, yes. Because that’s what testing is supposed to be (which doesn’t mean you aren’t allowed to enjoy it). This kind of attitude is what turned testing into a paid product and allowed publishers to sell things that are unfinished and never get finished.
I’m not implying they are running some sort of scam here, but at the same time it’s okay to have some self-respect as a tester.

The way it is currently set up, we are not actually forced to report our findings. We do so because we care about the game and we would continue doing so even if the game was out of beta.

Doesn’t mean it’s not work just because no one is cracking the whip.
By the same merit it would be nice if they rewarded us in some way because they care about the testers.

Talking about experience Gaijin never leaves out their Alpha testers. Wasnt even like that on War Thunder. Trust me they will cook you something surely!
