About the new bipods

They are great!
My only complain/request is to increase vertical angles.

Overall mounting on hills is a bit iffy.

I also noticed when going prone on a downslope, the MG was impossible to raise higher then the bottom of the slope when mounted.

Mounting works well elsewhere now though, like on ledges.

Well, to some extent it makes sense. Otherwise you would clip through the ground.
Though I don’t know how big is this limit you mention. I haven’t got such scenario yet.

I just love new bipods so far. Camping never was as comfortable as it is now.

They should bring back MG45 squad. This squad is pure massacre now.

Enlisted is a true FPS meaning every action in first person is the same as the third person animation. Your character shadow in first person view is exactly how your character pose in third person. In this case the third person animation dictates the vertical aim angle when using the bipod in the prone position.

It would be nice to have a larger angle for vertical aim while using the bipod in prone, but I don’t see how that’s possible without breaking the character’s anatomy or lifting the bipod off of the supporting surface.

Tbh I was also thinking about that and I see 2
options:

  • adjustable height of bipods - not every bipod had such option but at this point who cares

  • if soldier is mounted, he will automatically go between prone-crouched-standing when needed (ideally smoothly, with in between stances)

Theoretically they can be combined but I’d expect it to create a lot of bugs.

The end of an era, I don’t know how we can survive without bipod meme now…
