About the M1 carbine

You guy’s have reduced the power of the M1 carbine for no apparent reason,But this gun still has 50~60 recoils,This is very strange.

i mean that is less than most semi autos, while it use to have more kick than garand

the power per shot its the same on the base gun.

the only change was on the upgrade level 3. insted of 20% its 10% now.

gun fires a pistol cartridge and i quote " In comparison, the .30-06 Springfield ball round used by the M1 Garand is almost three times more powerful than the .30 carbine.

i only used 1 and 2 star m1 carbines so far , and they are good guns, the 20 or 10% overall doesnt change nothing. its praticaly the same gun on close quarters.

they also got rid of the ROF upgrade change that most semi autos have

Instead of reading patch notes have you tried it, it still kills in 2 shots…

I know,But there’s something really weird about this gun’s recoil.

we can also criticize the changes since they make no sense as the american carbines were really meta or game changing like some things are, but at least the 3 are now consistent :man_shrugging:

I mean the official change only only reduced the power of the gun,the recoil was not changed which is strange, the 7.62×33mm bullet has a recoil of 56 to 66.Also the M2 carbine with the same caliber round recoils slightly less than the M1 carbine,Only 46~54 recoils.

The M1 Garand even has a recoil of 79~67,Even though this gun is heavier than an M1 carbine,But it can be seen from this M1 carbine recoil is slightly high.

TBF the m1 carbine is a god at CQB due to its large mag and quick fire rate
and the recoil is not that badd its just its sights are really bad for its recoil

You should know that the official G43(7.92x33mm) update only has 23 recoil,Although they differ in how they’re built and how they work and how they weigh, this is clearly treated differently.

At CQB we don’t even have to aim,the recoil effect is really small,But in a normal firefight, this gun makes me feel like it’s firing rifle bullets.

It fires 7.62x33 which is pretty small

No it doesn’t - it fires a unique cartridge the .30 Carbine - see .30 Carbine - Wikipedia

It is a more powerful version of the .30 originally developed for the 1905 Winchester self loading rifle - .32 Winchester Self-Loading - Wikipedia.

And since that is from the wiki page for the carbine you should really have noticed the description of the cartridge immediately before that quote!!

I know it, but on stopping power it’s pretty much a pistol cartridge, ence my answer.
