So is it me or have anyone else think that the devs just take every thing that is currently in the game and put them in a line. Like soooo many bolts in rifle line and of cause, the special weapon line.
So here is what I think. We give each kinds of weapon their own page like how planes boats and tanks are shown in WT. Now I can only think of 4 pages.
Light weapon page(the guns)
heavy weapon, supportive weapon and others page(all those things in heavy weapon line. buildable weapons(if it might be customizable in future like at guns, stationary mg,hmg and aa guns). all other structure like better spawn, better ammo boxes so on. and all those thing in that can be called by radio if possible)

Also, I think it might be time to cancle some types of weapon that is not widely uses. Like mortar can be cancled and give radio the ability to call mortar strike.
Not very enthusiastic about this update, its confusing and it feels its going to be a shit show. GJ is trying to balance the matchmaking however its not gonna stop experienced players from lowering the gear to play in more accessible battles. I like sweaty games but 100% of the time I don’t think so. If I wanted that, I would do an enlisted tournament. I agree the BA tiers are confusing and out of context. Also, if you have high tier gear you might be limited to certain maps. I don’t like the idea of a “geographic restriction” based on gear. GJ should keep the match making as is for now and only advance the matches by Army. This would cram the player base in a more compact campaign therefore more players to match with.
An idea to make it easier for noobs is to do a match making based on number of battles and not on gears cause you can be a noob and have a premium squad and then what? he has no chance against veterans.
This update will only repel new players from the game. No one will want to play for a month or more to unlock that simple thing as M1 Garand. And - maps of Berlin and Normandy are not suitable for bolt action rifles (they are more reloading than actual shooting).
agree, some maps urban scenario, smgs fit better, maps like tunisia BA are better fit. Somewhat this match making will not adjust well to new players. If Have BA as American, will you only play pacific and tunisia?
In this case, I think the advantages of having lobbies with quite the same gear seems to outweigh your suggestions. I’ve never met any Player that said “oh nice, full 4 stack squad full of Meta guns, maybe I can pick up one and go on a rampage.”
maybe not against an overpowered pre made stack of players that are just steamrolling
but when you encounter one in a closely contested match, it’s really nice as a new player to pick up a top tier weapon and appreciate it and look forward to one day unlocking it so they can use it as an advantage in battle
never met a player that didn’t like picking up a better weapon on the ground
I have everything. I usually don’t pick up guns.
And I can’t remember doing so when I was low tier. But it’s just me, I am not representing someone else, lol.
