Look bro, I don’t need dead-end squads to run multiple of the same type…
Right MG 1, 2 and3 plus event…now you can add another.
And this one has Italian uniforms, names and voicelines.
Sure, because it’s absolutely necessary to run 5 identical squad types in every match. Better yet, let them just delete tanks and planes from the game, I want to run 14 MGs.
People who’ve I got into the game a few months ago like this since it’s a non gimmicky squad they can use at any BR as a tack on

Wow bro, instead of getting a genuine, fully fleshed-out Italian faction, we just get a random generic squad slapped with a different uniform and some voice lines… Why didn’t I think of it that way?
Bro, you can take literally any squad in the game and run it in whatever BR you damn well please, you don’t need them to give you an event squad for that…
Some of us have more than the 6 free squad slots.

The Italian weapons are already in the TT, now there will be squads…you don’t want it don’t play the event.

As far as I know, every campaign and tech tree squad can be moved to whatever BR you want, except for premium squads. But if you buy a premium squad that explicitly tells you its BR beforehand and then you complain about not being able to change it, the problem is something else entirely…
What’s the point of wanting it in another faction anyway? Or do you want to build a British squad with Italian weapons? Your comment makes absolutely no sense.
It’s you who makes no sense…some people want to run a full Italian or British line-up…this gives the ability to do so.

Then wouldn’t it be much better to actually add more British or Italian units to the tech tree instead of releasing lazy events like this? How is a single event squad going to let anyone run a ‘full line-up’?
Because then the problem is something else, not the event itself… Demand more actual units instead of defending a useless event just because it gives you a tiny crumb of what you want.
This is essentially what they are doing, plus it gives you free 3 starred gear.

Did you read the whole thing where they said they were going to add lots of new “alt” squads? I don’t think you did, because that answers your question. No, of course one extra Italian squad doesn’t mean you can immediately run a full lineup. Next event there’ll be another, and then another. Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good. This is a good event. You play, you get squads. Are they 5 star best squads ever to grace the game? No. Are they additional content that has a use and that lots of people want? Mm hmm, yup.
