I believe that the tickets set for the attacker in invasion mode are consumed each time someone spawns, but is the amount consumed constant no matter what kind of squad goes out?
For example, does a 9-man rifleman team and a 3-man sniper squad consume the same number of tickets?

Yes no matter what the squad is they consume the same point.
Be it 3 man or 9 man squad they use the same.

So in terms of the economics of tickets, the smaller the team, the more we lose.
