About respawn tickets (update)

It seems that even though, like Normandy, after advanced a stage, the tickets number increased a lot. But in Normandy, each respawn cost more tickets than other campaign.
I just tested out today…

Mode Invasion, Destruction, Assault, Armored train escort, Attacker side, after finish current stage, entering next stage, then will get map-related bonus respawn tickets. Start at 1000 tickets. With 1000 tickets cap via sector resupply, with 2000 tickets cap via destroying balloons.

For example Normandy Airfield Invasion:

After captured a sector, the bonus respawn tickets is +333(Not related to team member’s count).

But only at Sector 1,2 is fixed +333. At sector 3,4, the bonus tickets count is related dynamically to Attacker’s current tickets count. The more advanced sectors, the less Attacker team’s tickets remain, the more bonus tickets count got closer to +333. If Attacker tickets count remain high, they MAY NOT get any extra tickets!

For example Normandy Airfield Invasion:

After captured sector 4. If attacker has 0 tickets remain, then the game will give attacker full +333 bonus tickets, but it they have 600 tickets remain, the game DOES NOT give any bonus ticket.

Mode Invasion, Destruction, Assault, Armored train escort, Attacker side, except initial spawns, each respawn will cost respawn tickets, which is map and team member count related.

At each respawn, it cost : Map preset every teammates respawns respawn only once/current team member’s count

For example, in Normandy Airfield Invasion, your team have 10 team members (including AI), each respawn costs 16(.7).

When your team have lots of players quit midmatch, and only 5 current team members left. Each respawn costs 33.

When only you are here, each respawn costs 167.

As you know the tickets cost are all different and are one of the tools (some would say lazy) to balance the game.

Normandy is for me the second more unbalanced campaign. Have you tested Tunisia for comparaison?

Tickets are one of the fast and easy methods the devs have to adjust winrates on a map without requiring much testing on their part or relearning on the players part. Different maps give different amonts in order to help make it easier or harder for one side to win, to counter the map being more favorable for one side over the other.

It is for sure something of a patch solution, but in most situations where the map isn’t that unfair, it gets the job done well enough, and again, its fast and easy for the devs and the players.

Airfield in general is an absolute mess, since its lack of cover anywhere means it can easily become a slaughter house, so it showers the attackers with extra tickets, and lets them shoot down balloons for even more. That is a map where I think more serious changes are called for, since it always feels like a massive slog and is part of why I don’t like normandy

Then which one is the most unbalanced?

According to google, Tunisia is “twice” more umballanced:


Definitely not. Tunisia Axis just suffer on playerbase, definitely more balanced than Moscow. At least no ZH29 vs AVs(you can imagine M2 carbine given to Tunisia allies) and golden order T-50, making you meet one or even more T-50 at literally every match. It’s just a matter of time for Moscow turning into a bot farmer if nothing substantial given to Moscow Axis

The weapon gap is more little in in Tunisia than in Moscow.
Therefor Tunisia should be less unballanced.

But because of the lack of axis player, google is right and Tunisia is the less balanced, its not a weapon problem, but a number of player problem.

I have noticed that.to a point that the team on 4th point have less than 500 tickets with a handfull of deaths combined.

Makes no actual sense.

Im definitely sure Normandy is the most balanced campagin. Moscow 1st unbalanced because of avs and T50+T28e, Berlin 2st unbalanced because of FG422, Tunisia 3st unbalanced because of dogshit axis weapon, Normandie is definitly 4st. I don’t take playerbase into account so you maybe surprised but in fact Berlin is highly unbalanced, but due to playerbase Soviet is farming bot everyday

not sure on the ticket per spawn cost. but the devs balance some points/maps by giving less reinforcements per capture
