So will they reduce the tanker and pilots types to 1 ?

Repeated vehicles have different class in different campaigns. This make no sense
In the new progression, vehicles and crew tier will probably be separated. So it doesn’t really matter.

While it is still possible to mix tier I, II and III crews without any problems, you always look at what passive perk a given class has. One tanker will be a better driver, and the 1st class ones are best suited for gunner and loader because level 5 is cheap.
