Honestly, it is pretty good, but not much different to Owen in my opinion, both CQB weapons

But considering it can go on eng, riflemen it does make them more effective, but not like you suddenly have 9 man assaulter squad…

With Owen you cant smack a soldier at 100m with the M2 you can …

M2 Carbine is OP for this campaign the time people realise it and allies will stump japanese like good old times.

It will the same if we give the allies an another auto rifle while japanese had a MP43

As for the weapon itself, I personally don’t like the sights - they obscure too much vision around the target.

But I see one problem with the way they implemented it - I think that one thing Stalingrad did right was limiting assault/battle rifles to assaulters and engineers, and that’s what they should’ve done with the M2 in Pacific. Although we’ll see how they’ll solve this issue after the campaign merge.

It was either the M2C or the Sherman, pick your poison ! :skull:

In game the M2 Carbine is in the semiauto weapon class so all soldier class except for tank, fighter, attacker, medic, assaulter, sniper class can equip it.

There are 13 soldier classes in the Pacific excluding the paratrooper class, 10 non-vehicle classes. 7 out of those 10 classes can equip the M2 Carbine. There are many good characteristics to this weapon, the few or perhaps only downside is that it have terrible sight picture.

It’s good, but you need to be in medium to close range engagement. Against camping defenders at range it’s not a good gun.

M2C completely outclasses any Japanese firearm, although it’s not noticeable due to only a few players use this weapon and the rather lacking player base of Pacific Allies atm.

Assymetrical balance.
I dont see any problem.

It is certainly strong, but unlike the Normandy, it is not as ferocious as the Normandy, since most of the fighting is done at long range.

Too OP. M2 carbine is full auto and type 4 is just a Japnese Garand.
Jp should get type 5 autorifle instead. 7.7mm caliber, 20 or 30 rounds full-auto
