I was really excited to see the EM-1 assault rifle, but they were all developed too late—even the earliest model wasn’t as sleek-looking as the weapons that came after it.

no more prototypes please we alredy swim on a sea filled with them :sob:

A prototype post-war rifle, firing post-war ammunition? How about “no”?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s technicly the best fit for a “Commonwealth Assault Rifle”, by virtue of there being nothing better that’s competing with it. As a Commonwealth main (at heart, as it’s currently not an option in the game,) I don’t want it, I want actually used guns for my preffered faction, so much that has yet to be added that should be added, and hopefully in the tech tree at some point too, tired of the Commonwealth being the piggybank of the Allies by having common gear and vehicles be behind pay/event-walls.

What are you talking about? This is the most historically accurate game about prototypes. The best paper simulator in the observed part of the universe.

1948 gun so no thanks it’s not WW2.

Try Fallout London, you will enjoy the rifle as much as you would like

I think it would be good if it was added around BR 6~7.
I think it will be possible at least from the Korean War.
Of course, it wasn’t actually used.
I think I’ll be fine as a rival to AK-47 if there’s a Soviet vs US BR6~7 campaign. (M-16 came out too late.)
